Hopefully this starts out more balanced though. Face it, Mordor just wasn't powerful enough in the original.

well all the lotr games seem to make the good forces better then evil. Just like most lotr maps in sc. People don't realize that minas tirith and the rest of the peoples of M-E were up against the wall. fighting to survive.

With what? No cavalry, trolls are too bulky to be really effective, and the same-priced archers suck in comparison to all other archers (Gondor archers = best). The soldiers may be free to build, but they suck. Isengard is much more balanced in my opinion. Mordor is way too cheap with one or two powerful units that can't really be used widely.
Gondor has the best units in the game, hands down.
