Text Defense.

Use EUD text detection to control the defense.

Using letter keys you select the square you want to attack
Q-W-E-R
A-S-D-F
Z-X-C-V
etc... Then each player would have their own grid which would either be an individual grid or part of a larger team setup.
By typing a key you would then attack that grid much like a dark swarm firing system.

You could then use number keys to select different weapons/levels of attacks.
1-2-3: Three level basic attack
4-5-6: Three level advanced attack
7-8-9: Special Attacks
0: Last resort (one time use attack)
You could buy weapons by using upgrade detection.

EUD is kind of risky though if u use the Enabler. So i say something non-EUD.

On Topic: Maybe... An idea where you have an RPG where your an army and have to defend units and have to do side-defense quests to get more units and stuff. Just an idea that i thought of in 1 minute that probably doesnt make any sense happy.gif

EUD Conditions don't require the eud enabler. They were never patched. Only EUD actions were.

special ability defence,

use lockdown storm mc maelstrom iridate brooding plauge and others as your only ways of attacking/ doing dmg

What would the point be? Other than Mind Control and Psi Storm all you would do is slow them down. Maybe an all Psi Storm map, that would force you to conserve your energy rather than just blasting thunder everywhere, that sounds like it could be interesting.

Plague does not kill, it only weakens.

or! you can make a way more weirder defense like, you build a supply depot and it becomes the, ULTIMATE WEAPON , muahhahahaha, or you can build a pylon then remove it, create a tank, then disable it, and call it tank defense!

What about a defense where, instead of the players getting some units and the computer getting an attack force, the players are given the attack force and no other units, and it is constatly ordered to the end of the track? They would have to manually make their units kill each other while at the same time trying to hold them back from advancing to the end.

Sounds neat, but wouldn't that always leave at least 1 unit left? Unless you ended the game/round when there was only 1 remaining unit. I really like that idea though, I don't think there is anything like it to my knowledge.

How about a competition defence where the amount of units you kill will be the amount of units that get sent to the other players line of defence.

what i meant by my special ability defence is like it is set up like the following

P1 line: Defilers with Plauge
P2 line: Sci Vessel with Emp/Iridate
P3 line: Ghosts lockdown
P4 line: Templars with Storm
P5 line: DAs with Mc/maestrom/feedback
P6 line: Queens with brood and ensnare

basically u can set it up however just as long as it goes down throu different people, kills would be group benifitting instead of the individual
