I didnt know where to put this post so if im in the wrong one im sorry

Anyways i seem to have something wrong with starcraft. When i host a game i seem to be to laggy for anyone to join. I have Adelphina cable hight speed internet. When i join other peoples games i dont lag and i download maps in seconds. If i didnt create maps i wouldnt care but how am i suppost to test them or play them. If you know how i could fix this it would be great if you tell me

Nope i have modem hooked up to my computer i have a router modem hooked up to my computer but i dont get my internet off that, Thats for my parents computer and sisters.

i dont think i have a firewall. would a firewall matter i can do everything else on starcraft but create my own game

1. Go to 192.168.1.1 and forward ports 6112-6118 and port 4000. This should clear up any Blizzard hosting issues.
2. Turn off any firewalls you may have

For more on port forwarding, Google your router model and "port forwarding"
