frozen ancient civilizations means way before the vikings.... aka, mesopotamians, sumerians, babylonians, chaldeans, etc. vikings came after that. Ancient i believe they used bronze and copper weapons, not steel like the vikings....

Anywho, my favorite was the sumerians for their work in astronomy.

Persian Empire. Although I also like the barbarian ones (Huns, Mongols, Nordics etc..)

Can you really consider Atlantis a civilization since there is no proof it ever existed?
