Eh, recently I have apparently forgotten the technique. I know it involves hotkeys and such, but now I can't remember which to unburrow/burrow first...if anybody knows steps to making Hydras stackable(ghost hydras) please tell me in steps...
You mean like stacking burrowed ones?
hotkey a burrowed unit on group 1 then do this key sequence with the hydras(must be facing same direction)
U Ctrl+1 1 U
then they should be burrowed with the attack stop move burrow icons and all you have to do is Right Click
i never knew they had to face the same direction
They don't need to be faced the same direction. Devouring ones may need to face the top left corner of the map for the easiest, for they burrow fastest. This trick involved the "Selection glitch"
if they arent all facing the same direction they might not all burrow at the same time so then a few will pop out of the ground while others wont so i just say they have to because it makes it easier
OHH so thats why only half of mine get stacked all the time THANKS
Time to play Tarpit D
Most things when they burrow turn to the south east. Just make them face not-south east and your fine. Lurkers doesnt matter, they take 5 years to burrow anyways
Also try this with "Move" (right click) and on any unit other than burrowables.
(This works with burrowables, but only when they are unburrowed)
So it would be
Right click
ctrl + 1
1
Right click?
with the respective units selected?
Does teh hotkeyed unit need to be burrowed?
no you select the group of units and press the buttons in order and then rightclick to get them unburrowed.

if it is burrowed it cant use any commands because it doesnt have any. do with any unburrowed unit. also I forgot to mention you dont need to do the first right click
ok burrow a unit and hotkey it
then select the other units and press these buttons quickly
U + Control1 + 1 +U
Thank you for answering the question. After several people had answered it before you.
Why do people do that?
