I'm using scxe alternative to make addon (computer owned) without base building, but now i want to give the addon to a human player is there anyway to do this?

It's just a machine shop for upgrades if you wondered...

EDIT: Gah computer freeze'd up when i posted this ;P
Ah well trigger looks kinda like this:

Condition: Trigger X is set
Action: Give terran machine workshop owned by player x to player x

Why don't you just create it for the human player in Xtra

Well then I'd have to make all 6 player's own one each even though only the one who choose the mech. hero need's it tongue.gif

But then again I'm just being picky about the map hehe, I can probably work around the problem.

I just wondered if there was a way to give it from a computer to human player smile.gif
Ah well thnx anyways, I'll fix it some other way maybe like the way you pointed out wink.gif

Or you can remove the addon for the 5 players who don't pick the mech warrior.

I belive if you use the give trigger then it will become owned by the player yet neutral. So there for it won't work without its mother building.

Hehe, well i made a different solution.
I created an addon + factory with a trigger tongue.gif

I was having trouble creating a factory with addon attached in scxe without opening base editor and some stuff gets removed, so i created it with a trigger wink.gif

You really didn't have to do that, it would have worked just having the addon in a place on the outside of the main map, and moving it for those that choose it and removing it all for those that are not, and that just requires turning off shared vision with yourself, so you can't see it, and making sure you have vision of a computer, at least till you decide what character you will have.

Haha never thought of that, nice thnx a lot.

I'll do just that! ;P

In fact you don't have to have it anywhere else, have it in the normal spot, and either just turn on vision with yourself once choosen, and then it will, as it where, appear there for you!

But when I turn off shared vis. with myself it still shows itself for a while before the trigger does the trick, is there anyway around this?

I'm using hyper triggers of course...

But that's not a big problem I guess

Your just going to have to deal with seeing it, or createing the factory.
