School sucks. I have 20 minutes to tell you all exactly how much my school sucks, and then you can all vent your frustration at yet another fun year of school. My school is, so cheap we got a new computer lab full of new and fantastic $400 DELL computers. Yes, a whopping $400!
We are so cheap we sit 65 kids to a bus which has a safe capacity of I believe 48.
We are so cheap we ran out of paper, tissues, and toilet paper last year. And you know what? We used paper towels for toilet paper (not that I ever did, good Heavens no).
We have a single T1 line for the entire school network, consisting of a good 900 crap computers all donated.
Pentium 100 MHz, 8 mb of Ram, 2 mb of Graphics, 700 mb Hard Drives. And yes, I am at school currently.
In fact, I am so mad I think I'll stop talking now.
But I'm sure you all want to say how much school sucks. So go ahead!
School doesn't suck... If your there to learn who cares about the washrooms and stuff...

hmm i think the people who have to use the :censored:ing bathrooms might care.. maybe if we didnt have this peice of blam president spending all this money on a :censored:ing war maybe a good handful of public schools wouldnt be poor.. and he acts like he cares and signs the "no child left behind act" pfft
and
lol my school is just as poor as yours... its quite sad actually cuz our school is really old and we still have the same desks that we got like with the school (their are 2 parts of the building one is like 35 years old and the other is like 60 years old and my school is just a peice of blam..
Well my school is like more than 100 years old. A very cool old style building. We pay about 2$ per month(each student) and our school is always in order, we always have toilet papers and stuff and school itself is being repaired every year. Its the best school around if you ask me. And 2$ is not very much for a cool school with new desks and stuff.
Why does school suck?
Because 98% of the students are a bunch of posers
Because all of the teachers... suck. (I dont have time to tell stories why.)
Because the amount you learn in an entire year is ridiculously low.
Because im going from doing whatever i want with my day, to having 5 hours of freedom in each one.
Because im going back to devising plans on how to skip school.
Because im going back to being pathetic by hoping in extreme amounts, and being extremely happy when one of the teachers are sick, or i get a simple day off
Because Math sucks
Because science sucks
Because History sucks
Because Spanish sucks
Because everyone sucks
Preston High School = The blams
Franklin County High School (An Alternative school. And Bush can go
himself for saying stupid people go to alternative schools because they teach you more then blamty Public Schools) = The blam
High Tech Institute = The blam
Business Math = The blams (The god damn recruiter dude lied to me and told me there were no Generic classes
)
All the Graphic Design stuff I will be learning = The blam
So basicly... School is what you make of it. If you think it sucks, it will.. If you think it's great, it will be.
I finally learned this after graduating...
I wish I made the best of it and applied myself to get into AP classes
Hmm... I guess i feel better, but looking at my post makes me think some freak on anger managment had gone insane...
School only sucks because I'm making it suck. Seriously, if I did my homework and did what I was supposed to do the first time I wouldn't be so pissed off/depressed over it right now.
I'm starting a new school tomarrow.
In about twelve hours I'll be sitting in a classroom.
I'm more excited than I am nervous, I just have to worry about finding my classes. It's not gonna be all that bad.
Have fun at school everyone... I'll be here at my house with such a huge work load. Sleeping 'til afternoon, watching worthless daytime TV...
Don't you just hate me?
No, but I sure as hell am jealous.
But you're being expelled is going to make it that much harder to get a job you like. Unless, well, you don't want a job.
Maaaan this was from almost 3 years ago I don't think I can put It but here It goes
Maaan where do I begin okay I know
1) windows are broken

>THE WORST SCHOOL I GOT THAT WHY I HATE THAT ONE
Well... I'll have a high school diploma by the end of October...
I love my school. New batch of computers nearly every year. Currently, 6 full labs of P4s, about 20-30 computers per lab. Decent network speed, 48 laptops to go around for random classes (English, History, etc.) Every teacher gets a personal laptop. One full lab of eMacs and G5s for the arts. A machine shop that just go renovated (thoguh the damn thing can still use more machinery). I get a dual-core P4 with a Radeon 8500 and 1 gb of RAM to stick a Linux server on. Edible food from the cafeteria. My only complaint is that we're not allowed to bring our backpacks around, since people would throw them all over the hallways during lunch, and the faculty got really really pissed and banned them. So we now toss our books all over the hallways instead. Aww well, I've gotten really really used to carrying my own books anyways. Great teachers, most of them know what they're talking about.
Oh, and no girls. Well, during school anyways.
just deal with it, but, i go to a moderately good school, hopefully i can get into a good highschool in the future
You just don't learn anything
, Hopefully I'll learn more in highschool this year.
And the teachers are corrupt.

u wont learn anything u just do more work on what u already know so ull do as little work as usual
The school property at my school sucks, except the Track field.
I go to private school because public you don't do blam except do the drugs or deal them.
Prices increase like $50 monthly every year and now they are at a whooping $675 monthly for seniors. At least I'm on a Track scholarship and I barely pay anything.
Maintenance sucks, they don't clean anything and they don't fix anything. Sure they put ~3 new computers every year but the Physics and Chem Labs are over 30 years old, the cafeteria is disgusting, the roofs in the yard are at 2 big leaks per square foot and half the teachers don't know anything. The administration is rich as hell but they don't do anythign to fix up the school.
Besides that, the people at school are great. Hanging out at school with your friends at lunch and classes is way better than being here home on the computer.
MY SCHOOL IS OK. oops caps, well anyways, the fod is ok sometimes, we have a gym, library, track, auditorium and other things but are computer lab has kind of crappy dells that we got for free. they are like pentium II's and the internet is slow and some of the teachers are bad. but hey, i have to agree with beer keg about the friends thing
The school I go to was built recently so everything is in good shape. The people there are for the most part good people, theres a few kids that think there tough inner city kids but they are just ignored. The place has everything I could want so I enjoy going there
SCHOOL IS AWESOME... our principal retired this year. I'm a senior in Highschool. It's my last year. My classes are easy.... and i have very many female "friends" i can talk to every day. (school starts for me in a week)
0Per.- NULL
1st- MarchingBand(woot, lead trumpeter! go me)
2nd- Civics
3rd- English
4th- Accounting
5th- Computer Graphics
6th- Computer Aplications
If i knew about Computer Science, when i schedualed, i would have had that instead of accounting. I dont like math too much, but accounting isnt tooooo bad, so... yup.....
SCHOOL is going to rock next year.
skool is cool, why would you hate it when u can meet lots of new people and make friends? unless ur like...nvm...
...anyways...yeah i like skool...but there is a time when i hate it...

You evidentally need it.
School is all right, but there are just a few teachers that irk me.
Well, I found out my schedule through...some means ahead of 98% of everybody...8D! But it seems that I got shoved into all of the large classes. Oh well.
Day 1
- Discrete Mathematics
- AP Computer Studies
- Spare
- AP Chemistry
Day 2
- English
- AP Calculus
- AP Physics
- Spare
Decent schedule. And only 6 people in compsci...as opposed to twentyish last year. I don't know why so many people are confused by Java, but meh, that's just me. I am so sleeping in every class, though sleeping in both maths will be hard, since those teachers are usually...evil.
My school only offers 1 AP course (Calc), so I'm taking five online (US History, World History, English Literature and Composition, Statistics, and Computer Science AB). However, Comp Sci AB has a wait list, so I may not get into it. I can always take it next year. So next year will be Calculus, Psychology, European History, and possibly Micro and Macroeconomics. I'll have to look more into what's available.
My normal school schedule is:
Semester 1:
French III
AP Classes in the computer lab (where I get to work on them in school)
Chem Honors
Band/Sectionals
Semester 2:
Pre-Calc Honors
English 11 Honors
AP Classes
Band/Gym
