ok all, you probley all know their is a sortage in gasoline today. Which really sucks. The way I see it is that the rich keep on gettin richer while the poor gets poorer. Any ways, When the hurcain hit the southern citys, it caused gas to go up higher. Cities are out of gasoline. Such as. Atlanta Ga, Augusta Ga, and almost all the major cities in the south east. If you can find gas it is 5.00$ a gallon what a crock of blam.

My advice to you all that drives is. Be carefull of how you go here to their.

Yup, oil demand is too high these days. All these developing countries in Asia (china, India, etc) are startin to use oil as well. We really need to find another energy source

Exactly.

It's about $6/gallon and still rising in the UK...and we haven't had any natural disasters.

Thank god we're doing better than the Eurozone though. France is getting close to economic depression: 10% unemployment, 'Anglo-Saxon conspiracy' (what the French call anything which the British or Americans win), etc.

Hitching rocks my socks! Why did the government have to make it illegal?! People only get chopped up sometimes...

On netscape I just read a news article about how Katrina caused gas prices to soar to like 6 dollars a gallon. It's really insane how fast the prices are going up, even without the hurricane.

wow... 8 years ago in Canada it was like, 50 CAN a litre. That's like, what, $1.60 a gallon? And my car totally owns gas like none other...

Hey, we're too rich anyways biggrin.gif

right now in Ontario it's around .90$ to the gallon, I invented a car that runs on its self but I'm too young/lazy to build it.

I can't believe it, I had to explain to 3 people at work today that gas prices AREN'T the same in other countries. I didn't know there was so much ignorance in this country.

Last week prices were ranging from $0.61~$0.65 a litre for 87 Octane
This weeks I've seen prices range from $0.63~$0.87 a litre for 87 Octane

A tear comes out of my eye when I push the pedal on my car.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Vibrator on 2005-09-01 at 19:15:32
Prices are cheaper in places that don't use as much gas because there is no demand for it. In North America the gas companies are pushed to try to get a lot of gas really fast (which isn't an easy task) so they need to raise their prices.

I bought my gas at the beginning of the week at 2.46 or something like that. The lowest grade is now at three bucks, and its only going to continue to raise.
