Sri Lanka, the country devistated by the typhoon around Christmas last year, donated 25 thousand dollars to the American RedCross to help with the Hurricane.

yes it is good but because we helped sri lanka with the tsunami they payed us back...i think of it as good karma

Well, proportionally I'm sure it was about the same. However, Congress has already approved some US $12 billion to relief efforts (a number in that general vicinity). Honorable, but not that helpful in the grand scheme of things. Still, I extend my gratitude to the people of Sri Lanka for caring.

THat is very admirable. I am sure that 25,000 to us, is like 25,000,000 to them. But, that just shows that they are mice people. Now, if only some of the rich wonderful friends in charge of the country could take 25,000 out their own pcket and donate...

What is it with karma these days? If I was that poor person I'd try not to give my money but the freaking unicef would get me, a few years agon they put a box in my class and I gave 10$ a day! I need that moeny...
