That's a tough one. I'd have to say Defiler, because just one can completely change the tide of a fight. You can cast Dark Swarm tons of times if you Consume just a few Zerglings.

Well, me personally, I like the Kakaru. Why? Because it's the only flying critter there. It just floats, and wanders around the place.
And maybe the peons. Because you can't play without them, and because SCVs and Drone have 1337 crashing skills. And Drones can float over land and stuff.

There was, however, a Favorite HERO poll.
My favorite units...
Zealot- Shields, WRIST BLADES, Powered Combat Armor, Psychic, being Zealous, as the name implies...
Dark Templar- Shields, WRIST BLADES, no need for powered combat armor, cloaked, cloaked(as in, ragged cape-like things...), Psychich, being Zealous...
Zergling- Auto-regen HP, Swarm Mind, Zealous, FAST, CARAPACE...
Hydralisk- Fast attack, Auto-regen HP, swarm mind, CARAPACE...
Ghost- Long-range punchy rifle, psychic, over-all cool, cloak, lockdown...
Carrier- Swarms. Shields. Cool!
Archon- SHIELDS, POWER, COOL LOOKING, MADE of ENERGY, so damn cool...
Mutalisk- Flying, fast, small, auto-regen, swarm mind, hits 3 units...
Lurker- Massed Lurkers with their spines look uberly cool... besides other things...
As you can see, I only have ONE Terran favorite, but I have FOUR favorite Zerg and Protoss stuff... lol

Doodads were only copied from the "real" world anyway, most non-Terran units were purely created. That makes the doodads an impossible "favorite starcraft units" to choose.
BTW shouldn't this be moved in general gamming? Yoshi didn't do a thing :/

oh yea the start locations is great, it gives you a free building and some units... i think its a tie between the start location and the dropship.
