Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> ScmDraft Terrain

Well, normally i can rely on ScmDraft to fix terrain problems from Starforge and such, but now it is creating them! If you paste some terrain somewhere, it makes it so that if you go over it with ISOM it will mess it up. Please fix.

I don't think it copies ISOM yet.

No, I don't think it does ethier, it just copies a sprite look, I think. It does actually copy units, but you can easily go over with Iso terrain.

SI said he might add in isometrical terrain data copying but only if it is within certain limits (for example, if you copy the edge of the map or something, isometrical terrain would still be screwed up.)

The problem with copying the isometrical data is it would restrict copying terrain placement to every second tile, also the borders still wouldn't match up. DW was suggesting isometrical copy mode that then smooths the borders, I may look into that however it would take a while to perfect.

Perhaps a quick fix to this would be an option for and "isometric" mode that copies the data, but limits your placement? And then implement the smoothing of the border later.

hmm, well it would be nice because i was copying some of my terrain from one map to another and when i wanted to change a part, it would do that.

Something similar to this is planned, that it checks the alignment and then copies isom or ignores, however it was not ready in time for prerelease #1.
