Note: This is not based on any book or movie from Resident Evil, nor game for that matter.

-Dead Link-

Note, that her map is not a basic map, it is very advanced, and has to be one of the best maps I have seen. It includes:

- Four Different Classes (Each with own skills)
- Multi Items (When a player dies, all of their important items are dropped next to their corpse)
- Ammo System (Is not used with Minerals, Minerals and Gas are used for skills and upgrades)
- Changing Environment (You cannot stay in one place, Zombies roam around, and will find you, every minute or so, more Hunters come, and track a certain person, and goes after him)
- Many Rooms To Access (I couldn't find all the rooms, because there are so many, and all the Keycards are randomized each play, so it isn't in the same area!)
- Night Feature (Units are blind, and cannot Allie Vision, so it is like if playing the game for real)
- Multiple Computers To Access To Do Multiple Things (Can access cameras, unlock doors)
- Doors Break Down (After repeated Zombie hits, a door with break. It IS a Door, not a building or anything)
- Multiplayer
- Terrific Terrain Work (With Wall Palletes)
- Is a fantastic, and mind blowing game

I was extremely shocked at this map, I know a lot of you might think that this my not be good, but actually play the map! It is, by far the most trigger abundant designed map I have ever seen, and I consider it five times funner then House of the Haunted (One of my favorites maps I have played)

Some of you my ask why she did not post it on here, well she is like Panzer_Kavalier, and doesn't really like to get on Forums, and like Panzer_Kavalier, she plays only on west, so it is only seen their.

Rofl... That is funny. Anyways, I forgot to add this:

All of the zombies are trigger based, but she said that it is not run on Junk Yard Roam, because it is to sloopy. She said that she has triggers ordering them to move to certain areas around the building in random switch sequence.

EDIT: Please change your avatar, it is making me mad.

Where is this chick? I have the hots for her.
Also, I hate to shamelessly plug one of my maps here, but if you really like this game check out my Aliens: Harvest. It's pretty similar, though I think I like this more.

Kitrina - The rather now inactive map maker, knows a lot, she is a very good map maker, and if you would see the unprotected version, and see how she utilizes her trigger, and has so many locations.

Though there is one bug with the Stun Grenade, it doesn't seem to work well on Hunters, so it doesn't really stop them, be advised. It is a hard map, and she dies on it a lot too... But it is beatable. You have to have at least four people who know what to do, because going through those many different paths kind of gets me lost. And powering up the generator to access the inventory is very annoying, a lot of little things come to distract you.

Outbreak

Kitrina and her crew are pretty interesting people, but I haven't seen them for months now. But that's not the point of this post. There's another new version out? The lastest one I had was Outbreak vBeta Test 6. Oh well. I'll just base the review on that version...

Terrain: From what I remember, it appears that your character is indoors. The paths aren't too complex and narrow, but it still has a maze-like quality, probably due to your limited range. I remember alot of newbs were saying, "Hey, ally vision?" I also like how the objectives make use of each area, instead of dragging you miles across the map like most RPGs do (althought this isn't an RPG). Pretty good.

Originality: I never rate zombie games by their storyline. I'll just move onto the gameplay and such here...Four classes, including the standard ranged ghost, agile marine, powerful firebat, and the healing medic (alot of people thought the medic to be simply a medic. How wrong they were). Not alot of points into that one, but the abilities are truely abilities. Nothing flashy and not abundant, but you're not superman in this map. Each individual ability has its uses throughout the entire game and that alone is worth something.

Complexity: When I was playing, I thought the countdown had something to do with your abilities, but then one of the beta testers shouted, "Hunters!" I wasn't too sure what that meant until I realized that those zealots did a hella more damage and HP than their standard counterparts. I should check the new version if they explained the Hunters yet. This isn't a game you can play with the public and expect to win (unless you're lucky and experienced players start joining left and right). Of course, alot of RPG maps these days are like that. But unlike RPG maps, the reason that this requires teamwork isn't because the final boss has 9999 and dealt 500 damage per hit. It's because of the puzzles, ammo limit, and individual abilities each class has. The learning curve isn't too steep, but it's not recommended for the average b.netter.

I've never beaten the game (the furthest I remember going with them is the basement, where the team got killed by lings, except for me and another survivor who stayed next to the AI units), but I've seen enough to see where this was going. Highly recommended.

Terrain - 9/10
Originality - 8/10
Complexity - 6/10
Fun Factor - 8/10
Replay Value - 9/10
Difficulty - 9/10

8 / 10.0 - Overall

Sounds cool, might have to play it some time. Anyone mind putting it on SEN? I bet if it was uploaded to the download database it'd end up in map spotlight.

I was kinda disappointed when I played this map, after playing it. Although I didn't get very far, the map was simpler than I expected.

-I thought the zombielicous enemies would actually kill the doors, instead of a trap beside it that made doors open. Doors can even be killed with triggers and Kitrina didn't use that to her advantage.
-I expected a day and night feature, not just night. (edit: oh wait, is there day? I noticed that there was an unblinded version of me around the bottom of the map.)
-No sounds, and sounds are important for the mood of the map. That's one of the reasons I like House of the Haunted.
-Some informal strings (The objectives just say "OMG RUN~!!!", Engineering bay is called "Yay for Upgrades", etc.), which wreck the mood of the map.
-Simple, colourless 1-word map name which gives a bad first impression. =\

Although it was still fun and not a bad map. I enjoyed the challenge of it and played it about 10 times in a row. laugh.gif

Here's the map, but think that someone who likes the map more than me should upload it to the download DB, since they would give a better description for it.

Kitrina did have one sound... When the Hunters came, but she really doesn't care for sounds.

Kitrina herself, if you know her, is a bit strange, she likes to make people mad, and put crazy things on everything. (By the way, she will kill anyone who takes purple, she always is purple) After you select your unit, there are real objectives, it says what your class is able to do, and gives a quick guide.

I agree she should of done something with the map name, something more like 'Outbreak: Redemption'

The main point I like on this map is one main thing: It is not noobie friendly, if you can't learn the map in the first time you play it, then you won't get to far. To beat the game, you would have to have pros coming in from every direction, because the map is extremely hard.

You got that one right. I've seen her about 3 times on USWest and she made random Blizzard maps and melee maps on UMS, and when she wins she messages me "LOL NOOB" and variants of that a couple more times after that. And one of the game names she used was "Free Porn!" and when a bunch of people came she said, "See? People like the game name."

i knew Kitrina for a little bit then she got all picky and biznatched at someone and it caused me to biznatch at... shut up cant reveal my secret:)

but the map was good......

but my hatred for her...

it was a good map really the buf with the Medic solar flare was a biznatch (i think that was my idea i gave to kit or maby it was someone elses)

but what she did was made a lot of confusion with all players when that is thrown out

and if j00 need i have like 90000000 versions of it smile.gif

but i dont think Kitty likes me anymore smile.gif and Auro is a fruitttttttt

You obviously didn't look at the damn map, it has nothing to do with New Orleans and was made before it. You are extremely ignorant and need to actually think, it is not that hard. The map maker's name is Kitrina and the map is called Outbreak, you never even looked at the map so don't even bother to post.

Another thing, Katrina and Kitrina are two different things, Kitrina was playing Starcraft for quite a long time before she quit, and way before New Orleans.

There should be a rule to ban ignorant people like you.
