www.hsx.comActually it isn't a real stock exchange, in that you aren't trading money. It's a Mock Exchange. (Bad joke)
You go around buying stock in actors and upcomming movies, and depending on how many people own stock in the movie or actor, (or fund or movie option) the price of that product rises or falls. THe neat thing is that Hollywood actually uses this stock exchange to determine how much money should go into advertising and making a movie, as well as which actors are selling.
Anyway, I thought it was fun enough to share with everyone else. I joined up knowing almost nothing about how the stock market works, and have left today $11,753.53 richer. (Granted it's not real money
)
So basically if you've ever wondered how the stock exchange worked or what it was, I suggest trying it out. I found it to be like a trading card game, but with more emphasis on the trading and less on the battles.
