I played SC for about 3 months before even finding out what UMS was. My first was Dark World RPG in a private game. I ended up getting BSed for asking so many questions about what the hell I was playing.

I played melee when I got StarCraft... but the firts UMS was one my brother made, cant remember what it called. But he somehow knew about Dark Archons (we only had original) and made a map where you started with Probe, SCV, and a Drone.... then it was pretty gay because thats all he did. Only they were rescuable ad ended up attacking you from a computer player he put in.
Then after that I found you could delete units, change race, and do Undo and they would be back.
Then I got editor and that method was not needed.
