i've tried that but it's like turret's when you reopen a map they all syncrenoize do you think that the beacon sprite would work if i like placed more then one?

Try placing them with triggers mabe? all within a span of say.. 50 milaseconds?

it'll say unit unplaceable due to atepmting to stack.
OMG: will this work? useing the norad ii method of moveing the beacon?

Well, it could be that the game speed tricked you or something. Its seems like "fastest" goes super fast... faster than what I remembered. But porbably not.
Stacking the beacons works though. I've done it. Maybe i'm just pulling memories out of my a$$ though... I dont think I am though.
Its called the norad II method because people usually use Norad II's as the building to replace for stacking.

why don't you try stacking(preplacing) two beacons and then with trigger on the game disable one of them and then enable it again after 50 milis of something like that might work<----not tested so not sure

Why bother enabling it?

Have had some limited success in getting the becon's framerate to change without using any triggers just as long as they are owned by player 9-13.

what is the norad II method?
Toothfairy, was this a bound?
i spose if you could find the map it might help.
if its protected.. use.. (was it psychotemplar's??) trigger viewer program.

u stack a lot of norads then u remove 1 and place a building in there

no it's just a defense. and i've tried stacking and disableing and it doesn't work either. im pretty sure the beacons were faster then the rest of the units. and does it have to be a building that replaces norad?
