Exactley, but "ignorant" is just to big of a word to be slang. In 100 years will words such as floccinaucinihilipilification and pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis be common in the mouths of youths all over the world? If this trend continues then yes... But I pray no.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsylicovolcanoconiosis (I hate my science teacher >.<) is a disease of the lung. Also known as "Coal Miners Disease". So you have no worry of that becoming slang in everyday life.
And I agree. Ignorant IS to big of a word to be used as slang. People usually use slang to shorten what they want to say.

Hey, how is it going my friend. Are you freaking out dude? Crazy.
See? It wasn't that hard to understand what you were saying, and i'm even white.
But let's see if you understand this: "Word to ma G Funk! Foshizzle my bohizzle in teh nodrizzle! Fochizzle in teh gizzle bodizzle hizzle."

I like slang. Not only is it used by the public, but I have words and word substitutions that only my friends and family understand. Inside jokes! It's a way for me to make jokes or say horrendous things without actually using the words, but substitutions.

I like slang, too. It's just the lingo that people use in their everyday life, and we cannot run away from it.
