Just use an invisionfree forum, it's what they're for. I'm not so hot on length tutorials for single people.

A few words:
You cant make a decent forum using html, i doubt u can make any forum with it.
You have to use PHP scripting, and if u want to make it yourself you have to find a host that supports php scripting and (in case of some forum software) provides a MySQL database.
I know this because i spent a long time working on my site and finding the right stuff^^
Seriously, use invision free. Phpbb isnt bad, but its better, its free, and it has more options.
The only problem is a long address, something like s12.invisionfree.com/yourname/something

I save all my cdkeys in a strange format in CDKeys.txt
