I went through a Nirvana phase when I was a teenager. It was part of my dead rockstar worship series. I payed special attention to Kurt, John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix, and Jim Morrison, mostly cuz they were dead. You'll grow out of it eventually. lol
As for my radio station, I wouldn't start one until I had enough money to operate it at a financial loss. Since I don't actually prefer a specific genre, I would play my few favorites out of every genre. Ranging from Disturbed to Kenny Rogers to The Guess Who to Green Day.

I don't know... When you have more to worry about besides yourself, I guess. That's when it happened for me. Instead of crying over self destructive musicians, I decided I'd focus more on life and the living. Although I went through it myself, I'm acutally a little annoyed when I hear people reciting poetry and weeping over dead rockstars lol. GET OVER IT ALREADY!
Don't get me wrong, I still like their music, but it bothers me when I hear people saying they were so great when they REALLY weren't. They were just as human as you or I.

I'd need to slightly modify my local rock station of q92.3 fm, as in put some more classic rock, and always have songs you can recongnize, all rock, no unknowns, unless its unbelievably great. Get a minimal ammount of sponsers, so less comersials, and when the d.j. does talk, he/she will make you laugh every time. A good times radio, thats right...
