Okay. I've always been a Nintendo fan. Ever since I was a kid, Nintendo has been my staple. Infact, I've never played on a system that wasn't Nintendo created.
However, this year, with the next Gen consols coming out, I am trying to decide between the Xbox 360, and the PS3.
I want a consol with excelent graphics and more RPG/Adventure games than I could ever play in a lifetime.
I know for sure I will be getting the Revolution. No doubt. But, I want to try something else for once.
Since the new systems haven't come out yet, could you tell me what you thought of the Xbox and the PS2 and which one you would suggest that would give me what I'm looking for?
Also, for the poll, lemme know which system(s) you will be buying when they hit the shelves.
Revolution... I wanna play every game Nintendo's ever made.
REVOLUTION! I will no longer need obsolete Nintendo systems gathering dust in my closet. Also, the controllers might be pretty interesting.

on dis it depends....if u wanna play online wit good graphics x box iz ur choice.....but if u got a bunch of friends and wanna play wit them u can get ps3...it hlds 7 controllers!!!it all depends how u wanna play...
PS3
And I dont want the nintendo revolution because 99% of the games i have are shooters. Nintendo barely has any shooters.
For nintendo, ill stick with the Super Nintendo.
Making a decision now, when you haven't seen what the consoles can do is a poor decision.
I'm going to stick to what I've done all these times, wait for the games that interest me to come out. From there, I'll choose the game I want. Soul Calibur is one of my favorite series, so I might have to follow it.
Xbox 360, Halo 3 and Perfect Dark!!!!! OMG SEX!
I think Soul Calubur is PS2 exclusive now...

They said that about RE4 to Gamecube but look at that it's coming to Ps2 and has more options then Gcube.
Right now I'd say Xbox360, it has a cool line up, but i'm defently getting a Ps3 (Proabably not right away most likely around the time the next GTA is out hopefully price is lower...) And revolution I want to get for Zelda, Mario, and SSB but I can't really trust them anymore, before I thought I was sure I wanted a Gcube after 4 or 5 years however long it's been out I have 12 games, and half of them suck ass. They didn't have many choices at all this year. And from current rumor the revolution controller won't be that great anyway using "Revolving" technogly not Revolutionary.
So Xbox360/Ps3.
I will buy my own computer

^is that spider supposed to look like it's getting bigger?
You do know that we have PM's right?
Anyway, I think I will just go with the Xbox 360, It does look cool, And I heard that it will have the best games, And the best game graphics.
Definately PS3 and Xbox 360, possibly Revoultion

X-box 360, If it wasnt for the X box, halo, halo 2, All those thight ass games wouldnt be here today, Xbox! U will be my first Next gen console buy!!

Maybe he didnt want to?
Neways Xbox 360 for me

I just love that console. The PS3s controlers always have something weird about them but the Xbox's control was just right for me. Now its gonna be wireless, awsome gfx, great games, and did you hear they'll have a free Xbox Live Server for some games!?!

I'm surprised this question even exists.
All the information that's been floating around is pure hype and speculation... There's been no substance in any of the announcements, since Sony/MS are just bragging about their e-penis with the hardware specs. Nintendo has been wise by staying fairly quiet on their part, without risking over-hyping their product.
Besides, not like the numbers on the hardware specs matter: the architectures they all use are all different and the actual performance is yet to be seen.
The best time to decide is when after the launch of all 3, when you could clearly say which console has which game library, and so on.
Btw, somebody went batshit crazy with the language filter. It filters penis? Wtf?
I'm going to buy the PS3 AND the Revolution and win the 360 through the Mountain Dew contest.

Then I plan on selling the 360 to a friend and buying ps3/rev games with the said profit.
I voted for PS3 since thats the first and most important one on my mind.

I'm pretty sure of all the new consles the Revolution's Controller alone is more hyped up then all systems combined. It was by accident but it was hyped up, now no matter what nintendo makes it won't be amazing as it could've been. Even if it has a pez despenser giving out unlimted Mountain Dews and your favorite food. It's just been hyped too much.
