In my spare time on the computer I like to play the solitaire game Freecell that comes with like every Windows computer.

My record as of this writing is 1275-589, and my record winning streak is 31 games in a row which I recently just set.

I was wondering if anyone else has played this game and likes to play this solitaire game. You can also discuss different strategies and the mindset you are in when you play and what you try to do.

Also if you feel that there are other better solitaire games feel free to talk about them and how they compare to Freecell.


Personally, I find it far superior to the other Solitaire game that comes with Windows. Unlike Freecell, Solitaire takes much less thinking and you can't even win many times. I find it much more boring.

I also enjoy playing freecell while listening to music. I tend to get into a good rhythm.

I prefer spider solitare over traditional solitare or freecell. It's more fun and there's different difficulties. It can be pretty simple to skull cracking hard.

I disagree, spider solitaire isn't as fun as Freecell. Freecell takes much more skill and also spider solitaire requires a lot of luck as well.

Freecell sucks, play cave story in your free time, it's much more worthwhile.

Yes it is, cave story pwns freecell, freecell was probably worked on for like one week, cave story took 5 years to make.
Cave story has over 20 original songs written by one person, freecell has none
Cave story has over 3 action packed worlds each with their own unique enemies, freecell does not
Cave story is Japanese, freecell is American.

Cave Story isn't a card game, game over.

Card games + Alone = suckage
Old school platformer games + Alone = pwnage

Cave story has guns too, it doesn't get any better.

Don't be a wise ass. You can't just go into any discussion and start comparing it to cave story. And as you said you went off topic. I was telling you to stop.

Jet, this topic is about freecell. If you dislike it, you can I say "I do not like freecell, here's why..." not discuss other games or discuss how discussing other games is perfectly alright, when it is not alright.

ok. first of all i dont see how freecell sucks. YOU cant compare them because they are two different categories. So get over it. Go compare Cave Story with some other old platform game with another one that took 5 years to make.

And if your that desperate go compare freecell to another card game. Game Over, end.

By the way, only really old Solitaire games come with one game, oh, and Mount. Sunflower is also better.

You are spamming the topic, I am contributing my opinions about which solitaire games are better than FreeCell if you didn't notice.

If "trolling" means posting then I've been trolling several topics today.

Also, you seem to be avoiding my comments about Solitaire, so I'll repeat some.




Midnight Oil is a pretty leet Solitaire game.

Ugh, why must I warn you twice about spamming? Just because you add a nice little message at the bottom of your post concerning the topic does not mean you are staying on topic. Both of you stop bickering or else you'll both get warn level raises.

It does not count as constructive if most of the post has nothing to do with the topic at hand!

I believe that Midnight oil is better than Solitaire in many ways. It requires a decent amount of skill yet it is still simple to play. It also gets points for being an over 15 year old classic. I also like the layout better as it is less bland and more vibrant.


On the other hand Mount Sunflower is much more customizable, with selectable backrounds, sound effects, and music. The music is a great addition, I always love to hear music while playing a game.


Also, Pretty Good Solitaire has a large amount of unique solitaire games.

I believe these three solitaire games surpass FreeCell in many ways.
