Some time ago I began work on a project which I have poured more time and effort into more than any map or campaign in existence. This is not boasting, just a simple statement of facts of the amount of hours I have spent thinking, typing, and editing. Even now, with hundreds of pages written and a storyline fairly defined, it is nowhere near being finished.
Why? For there are hundreds of more pages to write, hours upon hours of editing, and thinking to be done.
There is a myriad of characters in this story, many with deep personalities shown throughout, whether they have good intent or are selfish or even cruel. There are nations and a deep and full world. Some locations are alike, but most are different. There are plot twists and parts that make you go "damn! I feel bad for them."
The first novel is simply titled Resilience, which, if you were able to read the story, you would realize that it is a fitting title.

Oh, you know... in about a year when I get around to finishing the thing, you'll be able to read it! Why do the story a great injustice by doing any bit of explaining right now?

Actually, its really not. Its just that its always best to at least put up an exerpt incase something is seriously flawed in your story. For example, I submited the first few chapters of a story I'm writing, and only then did I realize how many plot holes I had left. If I hadn't done that previously I would still be stuck on the same draft, and I would've been angrier when I finished writing it that I had to restart it.

The first chapter I've completed is chapter seven, so it would make absolutely no sense to you and no sense to so much as put up on here.

Well it's more like the beginning of the second quarter of the novel, and Kame, I want to be a Literature & Writing forum moderator, but Yoshi is being dumb.
