[sub]Heres my second. Alot better then my first I think. I don't like how red's base came out, but not much I can do without making the map unbalanced. Please leave feedback about how to make it better, or if you think you know a way to make reds base better, tell me.

First off:

-Blue's expansion is much easier to defend than the others, like purps where it is far behind the choke. Try and eitehr move the three or shif blue's expansion. Also, maybe add a couple of more mineral patches(2-3) to the natural so that it is worth taking and defending.
-The front of teal and blue's base has those high land strips which hinders unit movement, while pruple and red's base doesn't. Maybe remove them to make it more balanced.
-Purp and red's expansions can be tanked and only reachable by air transport while the other two can't. consider removing the part of the island/expansion that is close to their base so it's only one expo, not two.
-Not too sure about the center expo thing you have going on there. More space to move on the right side of it than left.
-Red's exit is too thin/small, so units will have a hard time getting out. Widen it a bit.

Ok, that's all I have to say for now. It's a pretty good map aside from those things, and for your second map. Post it at broodwarmaps.net for extra help. It's a meleemap site that helps you improve your maps. happy.gif

Yeah, this is definately a lot better than your first map. The island expos take away the importance of the middle expo, which could be interesting. Red and purple's natural are too vulnerable to tanks or mutas. You should probably go with Pekkel's advice and remove that part of the island expo, especially considering there's already a lot of expansions on this map.

Oh, I also think teal's natural is the easiest to defend, it's choke is a whole lot narrower than the others.

Blue's choke at his natural still seems wider than the others, but no big deal there. The mainland is flat terrain which gives P the advantage over T, but the island cliffs give T the advantage which makes up for that I guess. You might want to take away the vespene geysers on the corner expos, there's a lot of gas on this map, plus that adds to the importance of that middle expo.

Blue can still defend his choke with sunkens better than the others because his expo is right in from of the choke, while for the others it's kind of to the side( especially purple.). And some things like Red's base goes directly to the center while Blue/ Teal is facing a highground cliffage thing. Also, maybe center the islands and leave out cliffs/ change how they are, since purple and red's expo can be tanked by those small highland thingies while there's only blackness behind the other two, if you see what I mean.

BeFree, I admit 4/5 of the people here don't know a thing about melee, but some of us do, so don't say stuff like that. Always explain yourself, if people don't understand they'll ask.

I dont claim to be an expert or anything...
but whats with all the bullblam comments? Why do people always have to post crap?
I think that the map is okay, but it looks a little to easy to just hide after a rush.. Maybe more doodads at the open side bases. But good design, I like it.
