It seems that if the 100 million Chinese living off $100 dollars a year is a sustainable live style, then so be it. In my mind the Chinese don't have moral trading practices because of the condition of the mainland. They have lots of cheap labor and they are looking for anyway possible to push it.

$100 is a sustainable lifestyle? You ever even BEEN to China? Walk through the slums? Look at the conditions they live in?
$100 a year is about 27.4 cents a day. Do you know that the UN considers living on less than a $1 a day is "extreme poverty"? So if these people are living in extreme poverty, you're saying that it's a sustainable lifestyle?

I don't think he's fully grasped the concept of greed. You see, capitalism's foundation is greed. China is slowly turning into it by letting greed takeover.
And.. America isn't the world.

Pfft, the Chinese government is completely filled with corruption. And greed? Ever been to Hong Kong? Heck, the place is more capitalistic than Canada, even after going through a few years of communism when the UK handed the tiny island back to China. IIRC, the Honk Kong Stock Exchange is worth MORE than the NYSE. So greed is definitely there. 'Tis only a matter of time.

Also China's population does not choose to live off 100$ a year, they are forced to and if the USA doesn't like it they can just stop importing from China.

Let's look at it this way: Why the hell would China import things from the States, if, they can make it cheaper themselves? Remember, the majority of people in China live in poverty, so can they really afford to buy the stuff coming from the States? Without China, do you think you can afford keep living your current lifestyle? Cheap TVs for a couple hundred, a DVD player for a measly $25 at Wal-Mart (pretty damn good quality too). How will you continue yor lifestyle if the goods you buy suddenly double or triple in price? Heck, a DVD player made in a first-world country would be at least one magnitude more expensive. How about your clothing? Your bags? Electronics? Almost EVERYTHING is made elsewhere these days. If the States decide to close and lock down their borders to all trade, the prices for everything would rocket up to the point where no one would be able to afford anything.
