Game Name - Choice Defence
Humans - 4
Computers - 2 (1 is neutral)
Map Size - 128 x 128
Objective - Kill the units that come down the lanes. Make a balanced defence to kill all units.
Okay I made this defence game, Choice Defence. Me and my friends think its the best defence game we have ever played. Its challenging and fun with lots of flashy stuff to make the map look good before you even start. The problem is, every time I play it with people I don't know, they just mass one unit, which you shouldn't do because this IS a difficult defence game. In order to get past level 1, you should build 4 marines, 4 dragoons, 4 hydras, 4 goliaths, 4 lurkers, 4 or 5 archons, and at least 4 or 5 cannons. Thats just a basic strategy. Also, you should save 50 minerals after level 5 so you can buy a probe and get 200 NEEDED minerals. Yopu should distribute those between players because you CANNOT build them all yourself. After that, im sure you guys could figure out a good defence on your own. Im just helping you through level 1. If you guys can figure it out, try to pass it around and teach other players to use their heads please.

People mass units so when they upgrade all those units upgrade. I haven't played your map because I promised myself to not play starcraft for a while. Just telling you the biggest reason why they might mass one kind of unit.

I understand why they mass the units, the problem is they don't look around to see that those aren't the only units you need. Trust me, you end up having alot of the same units later in the game.

gj. I like it how every unit appears somewhere diff, so if u balance units its impossible to hog kills. good map

For some reason, goliaths seem to be the "uber unit" in defense games (even more than marines. 
)

i think its better 2 mass 1 type n upgrade all then upgrading 4 different units

All based on your opinion, just as long as you don't mass only 1 unit. if you do that, then there are empty spots. Its one thing to mass one unit, and another to mass the same TYPE of unit so they upgrade the same. I was more worried about the noobs that mass all rines (not ghosts either) or they only mass archons lets say (and not dragoons either). That was the reason. I understand massing the same TYPE just not 1...how could you be dumb enough to only have one unit the whole game?

In this map, you gotta keep them upgraded or you will really suffer later on.
