How do you make spectators in melee maps?

To make observers.

1. Go to forces, move all player slots you want as observers to Force 2.
2. Unally, unvis, unally vic Force 1.
3. Make sure all players have a start location.
4. Go to triggers, set all three existing triggers to Force 1 only.
5. Make 1 additional trigger for force 2.
6. Set the condition to always.
7. Set the action to 'Run AI script turn on vision for Player #'.
(for this step, you want to do it for every player who is not an observer)
8. Make sure Force 2 have set races
(not user selected).
9. Save the map and test it.
(always test, even if you've done it 10 billion times)

Ness, I suggest putting that in Tutorials somewhere. Probably basic.

Oh yeah, I forgot you need some other editor with the expanded AI selection. If you dont want the 5mb Xtra, then im sure Emerald has it too.

You extract the files from it. RAR is just like ZIP. So find winrar.

Current Editors (I think)
Places to Download from (Not the Link)

X-Tra Editor 2.6
SC-F
SCEP 2
Trickz'n'Stuff
Emerald
CC
GUEdit 3.6
Trickz'n'Stuff
Java Runtime
Trickz'n'Stuff
SCMDraft
