Stick a cloaked Bunker with flaming HP on it behind the tree.

Or maybe it's possible to just place flame sprites now? That's not really my area. tongue.gif

Yes, for a cloaked bunker you can look it up.

For sprites, they are images of the game. Everything in the game has a sprite. If it did not have a sprite, it could not exist. Since newer editors have come out, we can place these sprites. But when they are placed, it is only the image being placed and not the actual unit. The 'bunker' and the 'flame' are seperate sprites.

As for making your own sprites... you could modify them, but the modifications would ONLY effect YOUR computer, unless you make the changes into a modd, in which case any1 else using the modified spirtes would need the mod.
A sprite would be like that Zealot. There's one sprite. Then, 1 frame later, his leg is moved. So he's in the Leg--is-start-ing-to-move sprite. Then 1 frame after THAT, it moves farther, so it's in the leg-is-starting-to-move2 sprite. Note that those are not official sprite names, instead they'd be .Bmp images labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or some other number, 1 number for EVERY frame.

What I would do is stack a bunker on a tree, modify its life(to burning point) Then make a trigger disabling the bunker and the fire will look like its on the tree(if stacked correctly).

Sprites aren't a good idea, you can run out of them really fast and your units wont fire.

Its better to just slap a bunker under it, put HP to 40%, disable it and be done with it.

Actually the fire on the bunker will count as a sprite too. So do it however you want.

Strange, whenever i set my bunkers to disabled, they just become blank on the screen and only viewable with detectors, and although seen in the game, are not in the mini map, very strange...

But you can clearly see them in the game, i can stare at them, just can't click on them, but i want them unseen, because they are just like sprites...

A bunker with low hp(flaming) would count as... about 3-5 sprites.

To make a disabled Bunker disappear, make a Detector near if for a second or two. When it stops being detected it will disappear.
