Well, I went to Wal-Mart and there are a lot of great titles to choose from. So not only do I want to know what game is great, but if the price is worth it. So:
- Age of Empires + Rise of Rome ($10)
Not bad... alittle old. I'd say for 10 bucks, it's worth it. Like you said, randomly generated maps, and the campaigns provide good replay value.

- Age of Empires 2 + Conquerors ($30)
- Age of Mythology + Titans ($30)
Out of the 2, I prefer AoM. If you're going to get one, I think AoM is a better deal too, (newer game). If you have one, don't get the other. I think $30 is alittle much though, I didn't find too much replay value in it.

- Rise of Nations Gold ($30)
Rise of Nations is an excellent RTS. I highly reccomend it. The Conquer the World mode is EXCELLENT. (Think Risk meets an RTS). Good value.
QUOTE
- Knights of the Old Republic ($20)
KOTOR is a great game, really interactive, good storyline. If it's the PC version, it's worth the price... the X-Box version...

QUOTE
- Morrowind ($30)
Get the PC version of Morrowind instead. It's cheaper, and ALOT more fun. Especially since there's SO MANY MODS out for PC Morrowind. These mods can add hundreds of hours of gameplay to the original game (which had alot to begin with.)
If you buy PC Morrowind, get mods. You'll love them.
For a great RTS value, check out Outpost 2. It's free for download here:
http://www.outpost-universe.net/op2dl/It has 2 single-player campaigns with a great storyline, some other single player games, and good multiplayer. A few SEN members play it as well. IM me if you want to play a game.
