well, ive been wanting to start a new mappers clan, but i dont no what to do...
ive thought of a name -- Hydrolical Mappers
my definition on this is that our mappers are full of ideas and encouragment to make many high quality maps
now all i need is help on how to start it...

Anyway, munney, to get members to want to join your clan, you have to first get a bot, a home channel, and possibly a website.
For bot, the best place is www.stealthbot.net, home of the famous Stealthbot, most popular clan bot on battlenet
Lots of good features.
Next, name your bot, and make your home channel op [bot name]
This will give your bot control of everything in the channel, if the bot is in the channel.
Then create some custom commands for your bot, create clan system, create ranks, and i advise u make a small website, if u want it for free u can use www.bizhat.com, they have free hosting services with 50 mb of space, quite fast servers, but no scripting support.
Or you can make an invisionfree site, saving you a lot of work but not getting your clan a domain/subdomain name (if u choose bizhat, the site address will be http://[yourname].bizhat.com)
Next, you have to create a decent map to help attract customers, but i advise not going recruiting in one of the 5 largest map making clans.
If you try to recruit in my clan, ill destroy your clan.
After that, get a friend to be a member, or just put up advertisements and host games called 'map maker clan'

I highly suggest you don't start a clan if you don't have any idea on how your going to run it.

Im the leader of Darkness Dragons.
Its small, but i know what im doing and its growing!
Oh, and if anyone wants to be my partner (i need 1 or 2)in leading my clan, has sufficient skills, and isnt in another clan, PM me and you might become a leader of a fast growing clan. WITH A Website /w domain name!one!11one!!1!one!!
