Ain't is a word and its in the dictionary. The english language is so stupid itself, people such as authors and poets can make up words, and they are acceptable.

The best word to look up in the dictionary is be, since it can sometimes send you on a merry-go ride all over the dictionary to explain itself, its great fun!
Jesus, just watch Titanic for the orgasam and seeing it in action, and i'll leave the rest to you, also the dictionary is a lot more slang filled now, with words that have become archaic being replaced with new meanings and so being re-added, most swearwords in English used to mean something completely different!
