A fairly local issue, but what do you think the Giants' chances are of making the playoffs are? Being a staunch Giants fan, I'd like to hope they're pretty good (hey, they got Barry back!), but I might be too optimistic. Expecially considering their relief pitching was steamrolled again today. What do you think?

Well, all that I do know, is J.T. Snow is awsome! He's getting my family tickets again.Well, my Uncle who used to play with J.T. is getting us tickets.
Anyway, I think they'll have a fairly decent chance. But, meh... my dreams still have yet to come true. My all time dream for baseball, is to see Barry Bonds get hit by a bus. I hate him with a burning passion. He is someone who is just downright, mean. Besides, what's his annual paycheck? 6-10 million dollars?

Meh, I don't really hate of love Barry. He is a great player, no denying it, and he's helped the Giants. I do respect him for that.

The Giant's staduim is beautiful. I'd like to be going. But, I am too lazy too drive myself. It's a good 3-4 hour drive. So, I only go down when I have a bunch of friends and what not. Then, the game's are a blast!
But, yeah... My Uncle played for the Angels a few years back. Then he got traded to the Padre's. Ever since he was traded, he went to blam. But, he was in the major for a good 10-11 years. BTW: My Uncle was a pitcher, his name is Mark Langston. He got one of the first multi-million dollar contracts back around the early to mid '90s.

Honestly, their chances are slim to none in my opinion. The Dodgers always find a way to turn it up at the end of the season to win the NL West. Barry's definately going to help the Giants, but the only way for them to make the playoffs is to win the NL West, and I don't see it happening. The Padres lack the experience and I don't think they'll be able to hold on to the lead, look for the Dodgers to step up.

The Giants have a better chance than the Dodgers by a long shot. San Diego has to lose at least 8 for the Dodgers to make it and there's only what 12? 13? games left. I'm an optimist for the Giants, but San Diego is going to win...
