Does anyone here play AA (Americas Army) you can download the Full Version at
http://www.americasarmy.com yes it is legal to download it is because its 100% free

Yes I have. I usually play the bridge map. And here is a good site to download it from because on the website they give you a bunch of links to websites that host the download and many require you to join them before you can download. This on had a good speed and required no membership.

Nioj eht ymra!been playing it since it came out... though i got bored of it lately.
I thought it was pretty crappy, I got bored of it in like, fifteen minutes,
The team skins are a bit too close, the first kill I got was a teamkill, in the middle of a wierd map. In CSS, the colors at least don't look so uberly same. Worst gaming waste of time in my gaming life/ -_-
usually people who say it sucks, either a) suck at it, b) haven't really tried it (a.k.a. shmeeps in 15 minutes you can't get online. You have to play the tutorials to get online.) The colors may look similar but this game is for realism. I remember my first 3 kills. I was defending a warehouse from terrorists and i'm on the 2nd floor aiming at a door a floor below. The terrorists blow through and we have heavy fighting downstairs. I unload 2 clips into the 4 terrorists that come through. Another terrorists makes it under my ramp so I can't shoot him. I pull back into the control room and close the door. I slowly creeped up to the window and waited. A little while later the same guys i had killed plus the one survivor comes up the ramp i had previously been on. I shot through the window and killed one. Suddenly a guy jumps through the hole in the control room and shot me in the head.
i play it

i like Pipeline bridge, Insurgent, and Radio Tower.
usually i would just take a rifle, cause thats the best weapon in the game

I've played it online, and still thought it sucked.
The game is really realistic (except climbing ladders, getting in prone position over a cliff and using the bipod on air) Also very fun I just don't like how when you start training and you do something stupid you have to listen to them all over again. Ah well shooting the instructor is always fun...then you get sent to jail. Is the only way to exit the jail is to just quite? Because I've never had the patience to stay in the jail and see if they set me free. And on medic training before I began lecture I got my 2 warnings for standing on desks. When I am done the test and I am about to hand it in, I accidental walk over a desk and get kicked out. Then I have to listen all over again and do the test again. You can also flirt with girls

. Some new guy to AA did no know how to properly throw the grenade and blew up himself and 3 others. I was in zoom mode so I didn't see hom throw it. His ROE was very very low negative hundreds. Surprisingly didn't get kicked out.
Oh yes, AA. I got quite good at that until the Windows version got upgraded but the Mac one didn't. There are practically no servers that I can go on now.
Because it's a difficult game, the kills are particularly satisfying. I remember creeping up behind a guy scanning the warehouse floor from the top of a stack of big shelves on Weapons Cache (great map). I shot him in the backside and his legs sort of snapped together. He fell forwards like a statue off the shelves and landed on the warehouse floor below, on his face. His team-mates saw the corpse hit the floor and were like 'WTF!?'
Ah, good times. I love going on killing sprees on Weapons Cache and Urban Assault vs newbs or unlucky players. I took out 5 or 6 of the opposing team in each round for three consecutive rounds on Urban Assault until a good player joined their team and adapted to my strategy:
My strategy for Urban Assault - West Team:
Name: House-to-House Blitzkrieg
Run quickly down the right hand alley from the start and go straight to the end, cooking a grenade. Throw the grenade down the alley at the end that the other team uses frequently (this really pisses people off too, so I found). Hide in a building at the friendly end of the alley to avoid enemy grenades (unless they throw them through the window =/ ). Take advantage of the fact that nobody seems to realise that people hide in this building and so come down charging down the alley like a bunch of incautious clowns. Pop out and mow them down. If nobody shows up, or if you finish everyone off, then proceed cautiously down the alley, preferably with backup.
Take the first right into a front yard - hoping that nobody is covering the entrance, as the enemies here are usually alert. Storm into the ground floor of the house and shoot down any isolated opponents blundering about (only idiots seem to try to defend from this building). Repeat for the top floor and then go back into the yard. Climb the ladder and storm the entrance on the right - most people seem to be rather slow at defending this building too.
Take a left and continue through the building's top floor. At the end you will often find enemy snipers who aren't expecting you to attack their flank. Finish them off. If they have support then flashbang them or just take out the support first.
That concludes the 'by-the-letter' part of the strategy. Afterwards you can do several things, one of which is to go down to ground level and mop up stragglers on the way to the objective buildings.
The strengths of this strategy are as follows:
+ Takes advantage of the unalertness of players who think they are in 'safe' positions.
+ You can devastate the enemy team within 30 seconds on your own, if you're lucky.
+ Requires no team-support.
And the weaknesses:
- Can get you killed very quickly if the enemy covers the assault alley with RPK fire or has time to get into protected positions.
- The plan relies very much upon surprise and disorganisation in the enemy team. You're dead if you meet two players working as a good pair.
- The lack of team support can sometimes be a handicap if you need covering fire, but usually this isn't an issue.
- Grenade spamming annoys the enemy team.
This was probably a post you won't read, but I had some fun writing it. I have strategies for Weapons Cache too.
Urban Assualt is a fun map along with the Bridge Crossing SE, Insurgent Camp, Weapons Cache, Radio tower. I just hate it when I die 3 times in a row by getting shot at from behind or snipe :l. Or when I had the M249 and I started to shoot this guy with an M16 in the back with short burts. Then he turns and shoots me and I die. He was so close there was no way of missing. I think it was probably due to some lag. Ah well. America's Army is a fun game.
