Wrong forum.

Besides, I don't think SCXE is supported anymore. It was a mod on StarEdit, so it technically wasn't even a stand-alone editor.

whats missing?
Now that classic trigedit is public Scmdraft 2 should be able to do everything that the 5 versions of SCXE did...

I dont like his avatar-- ugly (to me, at least)
But still, Extra is still useful.
Trig edit classic is still bugged, and its the program that has least problems in turns of bugginess.
But yah, if SI continues at this rate X-tra is going to become third rate, after Starforge, which will be behind Scmdraft.

There are only a couple bugs with Class TrigEdit at the moment...

...and I'm tired of people saying that SF is currently better than SCMD2 ("will be"?). If you don't want me saying anything (about SCMD2 being better than SF), then don't say anything yourself.

My scmdraft crashes when i insert the classic trigedit plugin.. and i heard that switches cant be renamed, which is quite important to me. I use switches often.

At the moment, to me starforge and scmdraft 2 are equal.
The classic trigedit doesnt work as i said, and the starforge trigger editor is a wee bit easier (i hate commenting it though)

I didnt say anything about me not wanting you to say scmdraft2 is better then starforge...

I dont know what you are doing to get the crash, and switches can be renamed, in normal trigedit, just not also in classic trigedit.

SCXE and SF still contain usefull things, so you shouldn't delete them yet. Plus, it may be possible that they are updated some time. beta.gif

Most likely not. I learned about 3 years ago that the people who made Xtra editor have quit. You can ask heimdal about SF =)

...some people have a thing against me saying that SF is bad. I wasn't actually directly targeting you.

...and I still think it is. What kind of program actually deletes your data and doesn't inform you about it? (Doodads come to mind, as well as ISOM...) For all of the 2-4 features that it has that nobody else does (which are minor in any case), I don't believe it's worth it.

I agree with evolipel now. I figured out that SCMDraft's String viewer is the same is SF's.

Now, my only problem with SCMDraft, which will be outin the next version, is the colors for ingame. I don't have the numbers memerized that correspond with the colors. I.E. <1> is blue <3> is green etc... (Those probably are wrong.) Other than that, SCMDraft will wipe out every other editor.

SCMDraft taken care of X-tra. Soon enough, SF wil be unneccessary, and SCMDraft will rule the world! ERmm.... I mean... The map making world! Yeah! The map making world!! shifty.gif
