i have a few that i put into my map but other than the standard lurk most people dont think of many good ideas that i've seen but i'm relatively new here... anyway... if u have good boss ideas post them here

here's mine
1. a carrier that has 9999 shields until you kill all of the intercetors then shields=0 hp can be set depending on where the boss is in the game (low hp for first boss high hp for last)

2. an invincible tank surrounded by 8 cannon turret traps when you kill all the turret tank becomes hurtable

3. a bunker that has a detector fly over it then away from it while the detector is away it gives cloaked units a chance to strike (this boss is only when your fighting with a cloaked unit such as a ghost)

4. a lurk (oldie but goodie their fun to fight)

thats all my ideas.. their all b-net friendly so you can put them in team games

1. Zeratul and two dts (you get detector) zeratul invincible until two dts dead

2.kerrigan, raynor, tassidar, infested kerrigan, fenix (either one), Torrasque, kukluza, zeratul, and Allen Schaezer... you said bosses tongue.gif

3.bunker with 4 ghosts, invincible until you kill 12 ghosts around it

Hmm..
1. two zerglings and a hydralisk

2. Kerrigan and two ghosts

3. three dragoons and a zealot

Uh... those are pretty good i guess..

A tassadar and 2 hallucinated versions, all have high healtha nd shields. Consantly regenrate halucinations so they don't wear out and remake them if you kill them instead. Make them all teleport randomly around the arena every 20 seconds or so.

Something like the phantom Ganon fight in OoT.

2 BC and Hyperion and an SCV

The SCV is invincible and will keep repairing Hyperion until the other 2 BC are destryoed. the SCV will have hp. Hpyerion turns invincible unitl you kill the SCV



all 4 ghosts. you have to kill them in a specific order or else they'll revive.



A vulture that will keep laying spider mines all over. you cannot kill spider mines




an invincible arbiter and a marine in its cloaking field. you get a zergling with 9999 hp and 255 armor , a tank that does 500 and a Goliath. untill you kill the marine, the arbiter is invincible.

There's 4 turrets in each corner of a square arena. You lure the DT to the Turrets if they are allied wit u (Turret ownership changes over time). Then you can see him. (This is gonna be a boss for my RPG.)

Not an actual boss, but I got an idea to make bosses look invincible without needing to do 10000 damage. You could use HP detection with eud conditions, lowering its health when it gets to a certain amount. Like:

Boss unit has at most 9500 HP
Set Health to 80%

Boss unit has at most 7500 HP
Set Health to 60%

Boss Unit has at most 5500 HP
Set health to 40%

Boss Unit has at most 3500 HP
Set health to 20%

Boss Unit has at most 1500 HP
Kill Boss Unit.

That would make the boss appear to be invincible/10000+ HP, but really only have about 2500 HP.
(won't work if heroes have massive damage as it could really mess up massive damage amounts by lowering HP by less then 1500 when setting hp lower making the unit appear to have something like 3000-4000 HP instead when it's supposed to have 2500)

Only problem is like with most EUD conditions involving units, need to know exact unit number of boss.
