I don't see Iraq or Afghanistan or support for Israel or support for the Royal House of Saud or support of Hosni Mubarak or support of the Hussein Family of Jordan or support of the rulers of the other Gulf States being mentioned anywhere in there save when Bakri is propagandizing the new recruits. Nor is there any mention of anti-Islam bias or discriminatory government policies, or any of the other typical progressive talking points about terrorism and why the West really is to blame. They do get in their quota of anti-semitism, though. Gotta love the consistency.

Instead we find that the ideological motivations of Islamist terrorists are easily recognizable as the same that drove Hitler and Stalin: paradise on earth through worldwide rule according to the tenets of Nazism/Stalinism/Sharia/What have you.

So, in light of the Times of London's bit of investigative journalism, what do you now believe is the cause of anti-Western, primarily anti-American terrorism whose perpetrators are Muslim? The foreign policies of the West, or because they think it's their holy duty to force the rule of Islam upon the world?

I laugh at that reporter's article. There is such little information that all it shows is the common reason of belief among the world on why Islamic people turn to terrorists. Ignorace is the main reason for terrorism.

Westerners were very friendly with Islamic people prior to the end of WW2. Then they created Israel. The reason behind this is that Islamics had gained control of those territories by hard work. Then comes the allies rolling down creating a country for Jews. Then in the Israeli War, the Westerners help Israel even though they really had no reason to be there.
It's the Westerner's fault why Islamic people are terrorists aginst Westerners. They asked for it by helping Israel in the War and creating Israel in the first place.
Logically you can reason that Westerners want to be in control of the "Holy Lands". Those lands are also Holy to the Arabs. The sheer fact that they have taken away the control of those lands from the arabs was wrong in the first place. Before Israel was created, thsoe lands were accesible freely to all, now they aren't accesible to Muslims.

They basically asked the Arabs to hate them.

You do know that islamist isnt a word right? And I wouldn't even call those terrorists Islamic, they go against everything Islam is about.
