I just saw this tonight with a bunch of friends, and I am very pleased with it. It was a bit of a fantastic adventure, and not too over the top to be annoying. The only part that I did not enjoy was the beginning, where there were too many scenes in quick succession. Also, one of my friends thought that having screw drivers and ratchets that far into the future was a bit unbelievable. What do you think about this sci-fi flick?
I liked it. The beginning was kind of dull...
Having screw drivers in the future is still kind of weird. Shoulden't they have like lasers that melt the screw so it doesn't fall out?
Although that was kind of weird... I liked it.
Serenity was OK.
I'm perfectly fine with screwdrivers in the future.
Screws have been around for hundreds of years. Why wouldn't they have screws/screw drivers in the future?
I heard this was actually a good movie. Was the 'big battle scene' really as cluttered/chaotic as my friends said?
That movie was
They played the crew of a spaceship beautifully.
I didn't see many robots though.
I'd like to see this guy make more movies!

It was a pretty cool battle scene, much better than the Episode 3 one at the start if you saw it.
Overall even with the use of movie cliches it was way above my expectatios and did kick some major ass.
I haven't seen this movie yet, but my sister saw it immediatly since she has a boner for Joss Whedon.
I'll have to ask her how it was, you know, because I can't trust you guys.
It's a really good movie, there's supposed to be two more after it too.
If you liked it, check out the TV show Firefly. I think it just got re-put on SciFi, it's the prequel show to the movie. You can get it in a box set too.
