'Lo, again, chaps. I've updated to version X4.
MAX4 has been equipped with:
-Some more fusion combinations, including 3 secret ones.
-A switch system to change the amount of kills needed depending on number of players.
-An Anti-Camp type thing that may or may not have been a good idea.
-Unlimited use of fusion combos.
-Various other changes of lesser significances (mostly changing fusion unit stats to compensate for being able to use them so much).
-A function that allows only the players on the beacons to get the new fused unit (if two of your teammates bring the correct 2 units and you bring the wrong one, you will still get the new unit, but only if you are on the beacon when they combine). In this map you have a team of up to 3 on either side of the map with enemy computer units comming out of the middle (robot Mavericks). The goal of the game is for one of the teams to achieve a total team kill score that varies depending on the amount of players on your team.
Example:
Your team has 3 players. This means your team needs 270 kills (your mission objectives change when the number of players in the game change). If your team's total kills amounts to 270 frags, you will win. However, in this example scenario, your opposing team has 1 player. If this player gets 30 kills on his own, he will win. This basically means that less players on your team = easier to win, but you will not have the benefits of being able to fuse or getting the character expansion at 35 kills. You can "Circuit Fuse" two units on the Circuit Fusion beacon near your spawning area to get better units.
However, due to the number of ground units (I don't use air units) in the editor, I could only make some amount over 20 different combinations (not including the super-awsome secret ones). At 10, 25, 45, etc. kills, your current unit is replaced with a stronger one until it dies. At 35 kills you are given access to characters from the Megaman X games, letting you try out different combinations. There are a few "secrets" but they are pretty simple.
Overall, a very straightforward map, and not at all fun to play with anything less than 2v2.
Please comment. I want to hear.
