Recently I have been on SEN and I saw my mineral count. It was pretty high and I was like, “Ok now what the hell are those for.” At a time of course there was a use for it but that has since been disabled. So I bring a way for it to be useful. It is a mini game called SEN:Office. It will be a tiny monopoly ran by me. You will be able to buy office space and depending on the amount of space you have bought, you will be able to place things in it that people will be able to buy. The office is what you will work on, a map for instance. You buy the office space. Put a map you are working on in it. And get people to check it out. This will of course be using the other forums. The more people you can get to post in it(not post count) the more money you will earn back. This is also a way to get people to map more.

How To Play:

1) Pick an open office blue square that you would like to buy. Send me minerals to buy the office and under comment: Tell me the office slot that you would like to buy ex. 1A 3B ect. That isn’t taken. Set up your office space to make you money via post in this forum. Note: an office space will only hold so much.

Methods of Making Money
1~
-Make a forum for a map/mod that is in production.
-In your office space make sure there is room for a link and send the link to your forum to me.
-Then for every different person who posts in that forum after the mod/map is done you get minerals for it.

2~
-Send me a wave to put in your office.
-Then for every person that says they liked it you get minerals

3~
-More to come
-looking for ideas

Side Notes

This is an investment on the person who invests and I take a personal oath to make sure all who invest do so in a trustworthy way and I will not lie or cheat them. If so you can ban me from SEN for life.

It is a risk and will take work but some things will be easier than others. For now I only have 1 method but am open to suggestions.

Wow I havent even got a chance to put my floor plan up yet for the 1st floor. When I get 3500 minerals and need another floor Ill add 1. And its 100 Per office. Just give me a sec to upload it.

I'm guessing we'll have to pay you monthly rent? There has to be some way you get money off of this too.

No just the orignal 100 dollars for the office. Depending how big this gets(the work i do) the more an office will cost. Im going to diffrent floor plans diffrently. Since the 1st floor needs a reception area and a door than its smaller. all other floors will still be 12x12 but they will have more offices and bigger 1's. For now you can buy 2 close to eachother and connect them for cheap and get bonus room.

But then.. how do you get minerals from this? I mean.. I know that you probably could care less.. but you're the one having to pay people for their work!

If you go bankrupt it will ruin the fun!

Its a risk man, and if i need minerals then ill just lower the amount you get for each person who posted and raise the cost of an office. im not dumb ill just do what companies like intel and microsoft do. I doubt ill go bankrupt, trust me.

Ill be updating that picture on a daily basis. Not multiple times just once normally at like 7pm. When I will do my updates on weekdays.

ADDITION:
Im still looking for other ways people can make minerals off this. So far people just bought an office and left it empty. They should move stuff in there.

Ok how exactly would we play? Do you have a website that's hosting this and do we each get a forum that's an office space or something?

Hey I just thought up a good idea! What about making wavs? If someone downloads your wav AND gives a good review, you get minerals for it. How about that?

Oh, and make it that the wav can't already be in the dldb.

Edit: umm.. maybe the "CDs" (aka wav storage) should be smaller, but you get much smaller fees for good reviews?

You buy an office. Go to map production forum. Post a map you are making. Make it sound good and get a lot of people to post in it. Send me the link to the page. When you finish the map I post a link to it on here. Then you get money for it. Like 5 minerals for each diffrent person that posted in your thread(ill count). Then you can delete the office and buy a new one.

On kirby's idea yeah I could do that.-updating 1st post now.

Question: Do we HAVE to make a thread in "maps in production"? I sorta have reasons for not wanting to make one; I don't wanna get too distracted by answering questions.

Is the "Maps in production" thread just as a cushion to show that the person is MAKING the map and hasn't already made it? If so, can there be some other way to show we haven't finished it yet?

Also on kirby's yeah I did that. You can store 4 wav's in 1 office but only 1 map production thread.

ADDITION:
No its way to see how many people like the map and that makes money. I.e. How many people like the product and buy it. You could also post a finished map in the map production forum and the amount of diffrent people who post in there you will get the same amount of money.

Shouldn't it also be partially based upon how many people actually download the map (buy the product)?

Yeah but then people could download it themselves like 100 times.

Does a concept count, or does it have to be a full-fledged map?
Can the map be an extremely simple but fully-playable map that uses the concept?

Basically any forum that has to do with making a map that you can get people to post in. As long as its not a scam to get people to post in and such.
