Staredit Network -> Games -> Game Night.

I think SEN should have a game night through the week when you know people will be online to play with, starting at the end of June. We could play massive ums maps that require 7 or 8 people. Or large melee games.

Let's have one every week... maybe Friday night?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2004-05-11 at 21:00:17
There is,however, one problem.
Which server we get on; USWest/East, Asia, Europe?
How about, we have a Game Night every Friday like DK suggested, at about 12:00PM(Evening) in a switching timezone; One night, it's +1 Hours, nexdt night it's +2 Hour region, and every night we also change from USWest, to East, to Asia, to Europe.
Any1 like ideas?

Most of us live in western continent time zones...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2004-05-12 at 00:00:25
I dunno about all of that, where anyone is, or anything.
All I know is that time zones mean different times for different people.

I agree that maps should be those that require a good deal of people to have fun on. Maybe maps like Haunted BC, Fleet Command, StarCraft Fortress, and etc. Amny old classics that has died away, drowned by n00b maps. Aww well....

Play TriggerHappyD!!!
It's unpopular, strangely, but hard, fun, and, well, that's all I can think of right now!
Oh ya, and, uhh, that one Rpg, I don't remember the name... O.o
lol

As far as I know, the official SEN channel was op staredit.net on US East. I tend to only be there when someone else is, though. Because I can go to places with people instead. tongue.gif

People play better maps on US East tongue.gif . Although I'm based at US West.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2004-05-12 at 21:18:45
I'm USWest, also, as Mr.Camo should know.
I'd move onto East, but I've just got too many friends on West. If I could still chat with them, I'd switch, but, naw, I prefer friends to better portal lol.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Mr.Camo on 2004-05-12 at 23:21:51
Yes I know this Ez. I'd probably only go on East for game night. Like Ez I'd rather keep friends then switch portals.

The night'd probably be a total miss, as usual... Massive UMS games = too much/not enough people (either 5 people for a 8 player map or 10 people for a 8 player map). Second, 3 people will lag away. That's a classic. Third, people will be annoyed and tired after 1 or 2 hours; which will kill the "game night" and transform it into a normal SC gatheric.

Though... It would be cool biggrin.gif

Especially with my new super-silent computer (which doesn't do BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ anymore where there's a CD working the censored.gif out of the drive).

Resistance is futile (From my avatar).

I saw a sign once that said: "Trespassers will be violated." I doubt they had many takers...

On topic: I rarely play sc anymore, never was that good to begin with, and would have a hell of a time trying to get my parents off my back for playing games with people I haven't personally met... dots.gif

Its difficult to get the crowds for this, and at the right times, since many of you would like times like 6pm or 7pm American Time, which for me is 11pm or 12pm which is rather annoying. The best day would be a Saturday, and have it earlier so that us Europians could come!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Andy on 2004-05-14 at 07:05:42
It doesn't matter the time, most people can find a way on later at night. I'm an hour or two ahead of most people here, but I play till late anyway. I don't think the crowds will be to small. It will obviously be on useast, most people from the forums live here. Invite friends from different gateways, or people you know to get the numbers up.
