Hah. The greatest race you can come up with is the one that you create. Even if they're Orcs, they're YOUR Orcs. Base the race on whatever designs you see fit for them. Sure, if you like Warcraft ideas or races from other fantasy based things, you can base yours off those. But it turns out the best when you adapt it to work with your map.

Elves! 700+ years of life, close to nature, powerful spellcasters. They should be strongest of all races, but Blizzard made them weaker for balance.
