Well, my next map is nearly complete. Nothing new, just a remake of Last Dawn, if you've played it. An old RPG that will be injected with new life. Enough on this.

Either way, the time has come to decide which project will come next. I have many possible projects, but not enough time, so I'm going to ask you to input your suggestions.

1. Survival Horror map. Yes, like Resident Evil. (I already drew up a massive 960x960 map. It's only like 40 KB because it's in 16 colors. Can't upload .gif files though tongue.gif) There will be guns and ammo and limited heals and item boxes and Zombies and bosses and everything. Basically, a massive 3-Player RPG, most likely not too "scary" but definitely great. Intricate storyline and such. Teamwork will be important. Vision disabled.

2. "The Thing"-style map. But, vastly improved. Elements of teamwork will be incorporated, and will be key to survival. So key, that at least 2 "Human" players will be required to win. The Thing (I'll probably change the name) will have abilities and will be a cloaked Dragoon... or Hydra. Still deciding. The Players will have one hour to escape "The Thing". Useful items and key items will be randomly scattered around. "The Thing" will be chosen from the players at random. To add a twist, all players will have no vision of each other and be the same color. As a human, "The Thing" will be able to play lots of tricks and assist the players. Big turnarounds when they let him try to help. wink.gif

3. Massive Turn-Based Battling RPG. To be known as "The Land of Moose". 3 Players. They can choose from a set of characters. This will be like a Final Fantasy game. Battling will be turn based, and each character will have abilities and magic. They must fight in a detailed story line taking place on a mind-blowing world map as they level up and conquer their enemies. Will probably be the most difficult and hardest to make of all the projects. Very time consuming to play, and even more so to make. tongue.gif

4. Grid Battle Map thingy. 2 Players. This will be a massive game taking place on a 32x32 Grid. This game will be turn-based. Each player will have the same things. Each square can be "settled" and built a base on. Each turn, they will get minerals for eah one. These can buy Ships, Troops, and Fighters. Only the Ships will be able to move around. The objective will be to defeat the enemy headquarters and their leader. Kinda like Star Wars Rebellion, a great game if anyone's played it.

5. Bound. Make a really uber bound on a 4x4 or so grid. Explosions will be chosen randomly from a set pattern. Objective will be to survive 20 minutes or so with a set number of lives. As time passes, it will grow more difficult.

6. Movie Map. Yeah, start a series of movie maps. I currently have a script for one, and I started mapping but it's unfinished. I can finish it and make more. tongue.gif

7. Moose, these ideas suck. You're going to end up making none of the above. You're lucky if you finish your current project. You'll get sidetracked when making these, just like I do when I'm with your mother. Hell, you may end up reviving a really old project or something and not even using this list. Finish player research, noob. My idea is better. STICK FIGRUE MINIMAP FIGHTARERZ!!!1

Awaiting replies, SEN. First time I'm posting my ideas, so make it count. tongue.gif blink.gif

3 or 4 sound pretty interesting. The rest dont sound all that great, or its nothing we haven't seen.

Its better to have a unique map then something thats been done already tongue.gif

At least 4 players is the minimum for a good Rpg. Otherwise 1 is good

As with Yoshi, I say 3 or 4.
I like Rpg's, if they're new and original and not based on running out of town, killing 2 "Orcs"(which are Zerglings, which because of their speed would make a great BOSS instead...), going back and healing, possibly upgrading, going out of town, killing 3 Orcs, healing, upgrading, find out if you're strong enough to kill Boss, die.

4 sounds neat, almost like a map I was thinking of.

4 seems to be popular.
But hey, it's not something that's been made yet...(as in, original and new and not a rip-off of any other map)
In order of greatest to least, what I want most(Better than just saying 2 favorites, right?)
1. Rpg.
2. Grid Battle
3. Movie.
4. Survivor Horror
5. The "Thing" Style Map

Can't upload .gif files though

Then change it to something you CAN upload, such as Jpg.

I like number 4 also, it sounds like a risk map with a little more of a twist to it.
