Hey, I just fixed my old computer which is still only about 2 years old and now I need to get rid of the viruses. For some reason, it wont connect to Live Update from Symantec and I think it is a virus preventing it from doing so. So does anybody know some good virus and spyware/adware removers that actually remove them and dont force you to buy the product? Also, a registry repair thing would be nice.

Yeah but it's a Online Scan, it can't protect you like an Anti virus.

Yeah it remove all virus, Unless there is no way to remove them.

ADDITION:
Anyway, If you use the Live Update from Symantec you are using Norton anti virus? You know that Norton take a lot of memory? AVG take almost No memory!

there was a virus on that computer before that blocked the computer from going to any antivirus update sites. I forget how I removed it though.

Is a very good site to get rid and dectect viruses. It helps me a lot and come on, they need to make some kind of profit so just buy their anti virus program to protect you around the clock(do their quiz and save some money).[/advertise]

Why would you recommend torrent sites? You recommend the sites with the serial keys so you, yourself don't have to go buy it just for the key when you can get the demo/trial for free and just take the key from a site/program.

That microsoft program, its okay. Takes a bit too much memory, but it works. I haven't gotten any more updates from it, strange......

I just downloaded the Trend Micro Pc Chillin thing or whatever its called and it rocks! Too bad I installed it on the wrong computer pinch.gif . But I'm not sure if I want to install it on my other computer. I jsut did a scan with Norton Anti- Virus 2005 on my old computer and found 61 infected files so maybe that will help by removing them.
