nah. this has nothing to do with screen savers. when i turn my computer on it automatically, without asking for a screenname or a password logs on to administrator.
theres an option for it, but i forgot where, and ITS NOT IN USER ACCOUNTS
yea, thats what the thread is about in the link I gave you. it makes it so that when your computer goes into a screen saver or you restart, you dont have to login.
omg

I SAID IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SCREENSAVERS!
ITS WHEN THE COMPUTER STARTS UP
I looked around (initially read your post wrong) and could find no such thing.
What are you trying to do?
theres an option somewhere, hidden somewhere in the control panel, not user accounts, thats a check box,
[ ] Users must enter a password and user name to use this computer.
or something similar, somewhere. i just don't know where its hidden...
i've had this problem last time i reformatted, and i got help. they told me where it is i just forgot where!
On XP??
You just go to User Accounts, and add a password.
i think he said that he wants to automatically sign into XP, not get a password

nononononono.
forget it
ill get help elseware.

Before I did that, I had to sign in but now I don't.
well, i found it. here's what they told me:
"It's in the old user control: start > run > control userpasswords2. I think that only works in Pro, though, in which case you can also do it with TweakUI
