I loved this game, Great graphics (not like hl2..) but it still had very good battles and good mapping design.

Played the game? talk about it here

+ a bit respect for zombie

Online play is amazing, the mapping is great, the storyline is sperb. It just couldn't get better, it matches up there with bf2 for me. (I'm just better at bf2 at the moment)

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and Call of Duty 2 is not that good or cool. What about Brothers in Arms and Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, they got way better ratings and a better gameplay. In Brothers in Arms, and Earned in Blood is that you control a Sargeant and control Squads and tell them what to do other than just run up to them and kill them and die, besides isn't Brothers in Arms based on the true story?

What are YOU smoking? Reviews can't be correct, because when it comes down to it, they are basically opinions.

Most of those reviews are written based on how much money the person reviewing the game got paid. CoD was not realistic AT ALL! Since when do you send 300 German soldiers to their death in an attempt to destroy A SINGLE TANK? And since when does a bullet from a Mouser NOT TAKE A HUGE CHUNK CLEAN OUT OF YOU? Read up on weapon firepower, WWII tactics, etc. before you say anything.

Stop flaming.

Looking at the trailer, here. Doesn't seem to be many improvements. Russian tactics, I admit, were a bit suicidal. And I can see that in the trailer. Do the MG's still have unlimited bullets? Never overheat? Are the envriroments destructable? How many shots can you take before dying? Do you still heal from picking up random First Aid kits lyinh around?

You get first aid kits and you have to apply them, MG's do, which yes I admit.. Does suck for the gameplay, but they do overheat. I think SOME enviroments are destrucable..

To be fair there isn't a single game that has all of that, and if there is it's difficulties are probably labeled:
"FRIGGIN HARD"
"PULL YOUR HAIR OUT"
"AHHHHHHH WFWFWTWFWT *EXPLEODZ*"
Although you think realism is so great (I know certain people stick by what they say like Rev) but most of the time when people want realism they later complain on how the game is too hard and how they rather play a game for fun rather then get shot once and die from blood posaining 20 minutes later. I've seen it happen before.

The way you want things is that you can't get shot, ever. Which would be cool at times but they would have to have 20 people or so on screen at all times, and most of the "battles" would consist of you sitting behind cover waiting for other people to do things. Wow, thrilling...

Day of Defeat.
If you play on a 'realism' server, then the only thing it doesn't have is destructable enviroments. Some are partially destructable (ex. certain walls).

God, stupidity!

Day of Defeat, there are no heals, MG's overheat realistically, MG's run out of ammo, sniper's have drift, damage done by grenades, bullets, etc. are realistic, damage dependant on which body part you hit, you have an energy bar, which depeats everytime you jump, sprint, etc.

On a realism server, they take away the death notices (ex. Joe killed John), add features like breaking your legs from falling, etc.

Playing online is alot differnt then real life. I'm not sure about you but when i play online i like to show everyone that I killed some one.

On realism servers you can have the msg alerts turned off.

I just got call of duty 2 and its flipping awesome. The realistics and the maps are really good. the only 2 problems about the game is that the controls take a while to get used to. I kept on pressing X to reload and i fragged my own guys. and the other problem is the gernades dont hurt me that much. it takes like 7 gernades thrown on myself to kill me.

I can't believe you're playing it on a candy-ass console.

Clearly, computers lead the way in performance, popularity and quality of gameplay.

The original Call of Duty has been, by popular choice, the best WWII shooter, and I can't wait to get it for Christmas happy.gif . Isn't that great knowing that ol' Mum will get what you want?

Computers lead the way? Then why does the 360 port of the PC version of Call of Duty 2 look better and have better particle effects? I think using analog sticks takes more skill than just pointing and clicking so it makes the FPS on consoles more skill based rather than who can hotkey and hide the best. Realism sucks in games. They are called games for a reason. Its fun to have some realism but too much and you would be sitting behind a stone wall waiting for the fire to stop or to get flanked. Also in Real Life one bullet doesnt always kill. In WW2 it was not uncommon with American soldiers especially to keep going after being shot 3 to 5 times in the stomach just due to all the adreniline and actually believing in what they were fighting for. If you wanted to make a game realistic how about in DoD they make it once you die you are kicked from the server and the game and can never play the game again because you are dead and its supposed to be realistic.

Well you are not kicked but if you play it in search in destroy mod, If you die your dead intelll the next round.

I didnt say the computers lead the way did i? Computers seem more fit to play on when your playing certain games to me. it does take skill to play on the game in computer and console.

MY OPINION DOESNT :censored:ING MEAN ONE THING biggrin.gif
