my oppinion is FF

i no i posted the title "best series ever" which is a error on my part, i am only refering to PS2 and Xbox games..so try and keep it in those 2 systems plz
Apparently out of those small range of games on only those systems, I'd have to say FF.
Well, if I was allowed to include other, older systems, I'd have said Mega Man or Castlevania. The newer games in both series suck balls.
I'd have to say Halo, I love their storylines and I hear they gonna add Female Spartans to Halo3, that'd be cool because then RvB would have so much fun with it lol.

PS2 and X-box don't have SC.

I'm not sure about that, I really did like the X series, until after the 5th one, then it just went down hill. Command Mission is good though.

Grand Theft Auto Series. The first who created a Non-linear Pwning Game.
Of all the ones listed, mine would be halo since that's the only one I'm familiar with.
I would say GTA. It's the only one that even attempts reinventing itself.
GTA definitely is one , and one that isn't up there, The Legend of Zelda series.
ZELDA!
Even though most were basically the same story, they still pwn.

Halo! I haven't even played most of the others

And you should have added Tekken.
Dynasty Warriors rules others are good but this game is rrly addictive n awsome

so far halo is winning, its turning out quite close for some series that i didnt xpect to have any votes at all.

Mega Man 1-5 were just great, then 6 was okay, 7 did better, and 8 was a God-forbidden piece of crap. Rockman and Forte picked the series up a bit, though. Amazing what they could do with a SNES back then.
Mega Man X-X3 were excellent, X4 kind of dropped off, then X5 spelled the doom of the series.
Halo hands down. It's story is so detailed and almost nothing is random in Halo so everything in the games has a meaning. You guys should read theories about the Halo storyline they are very plausible.

You can also find even more information about the storyline here. http://haloarchives.net/]Halo Archives
None of them are random.
Final Fantasy gets my vote. I liked Grand Theft Auto until Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that's where they lost my vote.
I said Halo because thats the only I have actually played on Xbox and PS2.
I got a gamecube which kinda sucks.
Halo > All.
It's the best game I've played on the XBOX and PS2, but Ratchet and Clank would've got my vote if it was up there.
Final Fantasy all the way. I love their story lines, they always have some sort of romance which is kinda addictive, lol... I also just like the style of play. Three characters fighting each with unique abilities and yet similar abilities as well. I'm absolutely in love with Final Fantasy lol. ALthough the name is kind of well retarded.... It was okay for the first one but having a second final fantasy just doesn't make sense, if something is final you don't have a god damned sequel!!!
!! Update for today would be halo pulling away from Final Fantasy, by 3 votes.
Make that by 2 votes

. Final fantasy is much better than Halo, so many more elements that have an impact on the game than halo, even if halo is the deepest shooter game i've ever played since perfect dark.
