Either with triggers, units, or whatever. What do you think is funny?(for a map I am making)
Personally, I think hundreds of spider mines all over each other is funny.
What do you think?
Funny in what way?
Huh?
HUH?
HUH?!
HUUHHH?!?!?!?!
Its not funny, its insane! [Map brain storm!]
I'm not getting much response here. :l
Funny like what you think is funny in starcraft, tell me. I want to put it in a damn map.

Funny, like what?
Something someone says?
Something you can do that looks funny, i.e. an Irradiated, Defensive Matrixed, Stasis'd Archon being attacked?
What?
The best is watching a Zergling stuck in a location trying to move elsewhere! Like jiving on the same spot!
some of the sprites can look pretty funny...espacialy having some random curser markers spread around the map
not really funny...but kinda funny is 1650 wriaths moving to the same spot (or more using starforge

(evne though scmdraft is about 10 times cooler))
Oh, hell. Were you here at the beginning of SEN?
Disco dancing SCVs as a friggin disease here

You mean the one that went round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round
etc...?
Or something else?
Put the Scv in a 'cage' and order to junk yard dog roam

this is one of the lamest threads I have seen. Is this just a random poll or are you making a movie map.
Units are not funny
Triggers are not funny
Sprites are not funny
Units or sprites may be funny if there unexpected in the plot of a story. For an example you rant on in the story of your map about a gigantic deadly monster and when you get to it it is, ironicly, represented by a broodling. Its kinda like the rabbit in Mightly Python and the Holy Grail, a rabbit isn't funny but it is funny in the circumstances they used it for.
Maybe it's just me but i don't get ammused seeing a larva on junkyard dog with a utralisk chaising it being unable to kill it. (maybe im too old for this ha ha)

Ok I'm making a defence. It's called Dance Defence. I'm suppose to add something funny in it for a friend.

The map has to do with "dancing units", like disabled tanks, crazy missile turret, p14 to create funky stuff, and the units that go through the defence line spin around while going through it.
Ah, I understand now.
One thing I like is the stacked row of Missile Turrets using X-tra Edit Special Edition. It looks so cool, and you could have it like a bound obstacle... "OMFG you

head! You touched the grinder of doom!"
I'm not exactly sure what the requirements are for this, or if it's in your glitch guide(never got through whole thing), or any other guide/list for that matter(as glitchguide and proffessional maps are only ones I've ever read any of), but have a player controlled Hive and give the Larvae to junkyard dog preserved trigger, that way you have a wandering-Larbae-maker, and the Larvae go wherever they can... and eventualy you've got hundreds of Larvae wandering around... bwahahaha!
well, i still think the 2 dancing ghosts are funny, and then end it with a huge rain of nukes..

Something that looks funny is...
Have a bunch of Ghost Nuke a certain spot, use trigger to remove Ghosts so the nukes are cancelled, make new Ghosts, more Nukes in slightly different spots, and so on, each cycle only taking .5 seconds or less =D
"N-N-N-N-N-n-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-Nu-Nu-N-N-N-N-Nuclear Launch Detected!"
Phuny:
- Reavers spinning in circles (dunno why, just the way they are so fat and slow, yet they can rotate like a friggin turbine just gets to me for some reason).
- An electrocution sequence being done with a unit on hyper-trigger Junkyard dog (some movie I saw awhile back had this).
- Vision being "shook" while a farting wav is played for some unit (juvenile, but funny for some reason. Also seen in a movie).
- A Kakaru hitting a building (somehow its death sound is so gratifying
). - Getting a missile stuck going in circles around a unit for a few seconds (did they ever fix that with any of the patches?)
- Watching units being "rescued" by a dropship, then having the dropship mind controlled. Or rather, the fury that ensues from the other player after.

I'll think of more as they come to mind.
The best thing about starcraft is when you log online and it it says;
"You are all alone"
"You are talking to no one"
and yet you can still get banned for spamming...
