A while ago, I was forced to do a factory restore of my computer. All my stuff was transferred into a folder on C:, but it isnt an "official" backup, so I can't just do a system restore. The problem is that when I tried to reinstall SC, I found that my CD-Key had been stripped off of the back of my case. I have my copy of SC on my computer, I just need to find out my own CD Key. I would use Linux to restore my files, since whenever I try to do it in windows I get all sorts of acess errors, but my Kubuntu CD is scratched. Plus its about 6 versions behind, its a hoary hedgehog CD.
