I was just wondering how many ppl even use EUD
Nope, I don't. I thought about exploring it, but then all the craziness went down in august with all the patches and stuff. Once the actions were taken away, I figured its probably better I don't even start.
Oh god. I'm thinking of databasing too much. I read it as UID. -.-
I used to, but never got into conditions, so it's a current NO.

HUGE project sounds good better then thoes rpg being made?
i'm like most other people. i started to get into it, but then the patch came over the hill, with the sun setting behind it. for a while i kept 1.13a on my laptop so i could experiment with eud's more, but then i decided it was basically a lost cause.
I have a copy of 1.13(a), so I've been thinking of incoporating EUDs into my map.
Not a really strong thread.

Yes. I helped my friend make it so he can type "Ban player 1" and boom, their dead
(Except the line thing doesn't make sense >.>)
Definitely, actions might be gone but I doubt conditions will be patched, if they were they probably would have been patched in 1.13b with the actions. Conditions might be inconvenient with the way it works, but it's still useful.
I got 2 versions of starcraft on my comp, one is up to date and the other one is 1.12b, I think, so that version isn't patched so Maybe I will play around with EUD when I have time.
You can't use EUD's anymore, unless you're talking about conditions. If you are, then, yes, I do. Or I would, but I don't make maps anymore.
I use EUD occasionally because I have a 1.12b SC install for modding anyway, so it's convienent.
does UED conditions even work any more?
EUD conditions still work with the current version of SC.
Because I do mostly single player mod dependent maps, I use EUDs frequently because they're so convenient.
Got so pissed off with Blizzard's decision (and everyone's idiotic "me too" mentality) that I kinda gave up on SC altogether for a few months... mainly just to cool down. If I do any future maps after Rush, I would almost certainly try to make use of EUD conditions.
Text, unit HP, and location position detections are a godsend to mapping.
just wondering do we have EUD tut?
my friend wants to learn but dont know how to exactly explain becuase i dont really use it...
just use the new uberation it puts in the ''deaths for player 3 is 34234234234''
so u dont need memcalc.
and we do have eud? the conditions still work.

Why are you posting that picture on your recent posts?
If I cared to make a map, EUD would be awesome.
If I were to actualy makefinish a map, there's a pretty good chance I'd incorporate EUD's somewhere, so I'll say "yes".
Can't you just use non-extended death counts for unused players and have a similar if not the same effect as EUD's? Instead of "Set deaths for player 143 to 343434343" can't you just use "Set deaths for player 4 to 100"?
Then all you have done is set Player 4's death count to 100.
The point is that only the extended units/player's deaths will have an effect.
Blizzard didn't expect people to be able to modify these values, let alone figure out what effect they had.
I don't think I really understand EUD triggers. The death counts of extended units have an effect on the game without being used in a trigger? I thought EUDs were a type of alternative to switches.
