Whew, what a trip. Sometimes you need a break even from your hobbies. Starcraft included. I about lost it on that whole EUD debacle and started turning into a 12 year old, so I figured I needed to go and cool my head for a bit. Pretty much done though, so I'll try to get back to where I left off before.
Been tinkering around with a new friend of mine, HL2 Gmod. Be sure to check out some of my creations, particularily this, this and especially this (be sure to see the movie).
So, how ya'll been holding up while I was gone? Anything important happen while I was away?

What happened? Uh aE Clan died, v5 should be out soon, Blizzcon happened, WoW Expansion being made, Diablo 3 in making at blizzard. Map Making gone slow pace for all, New DLDBERS have been selected, nothing special i guess.

Diablo 3 and Clan aE I didn't know about. Too bad about the pace of maps, but not surprised. Things'll pick back up again when Blizzard gets enough of their WoW milking to revisit SC (doesn't look like it'll be soon though *sigh*).
Yeah stay tuned in about a week or two. I'll have something special cooked up by then. My way of saying "I'm back" (if that's to be considered a good thing

Uh, I mean just send it to my yahoo account so I can download it when I get ahold of a burner. I hope it isn't multiplayer, though.

As for things that have happened while you've been gone.

As for terrain, we've pretty much mastered the art of cliffs. (Although not much of the mastery is ever posted for some reason.)
As for neat concepts, there was a neat way to create rock sprites that was discovered, that doesn't crash the game even when you look at it being created. That concept led to other discoveries with missile turrets.
As for maps, The Puzzling was made which stresses the art of figuring out little games. Crescent Dyne Seems to be turning into the next great rpg of starcrafts world.
