I'm thinking of a Megaman Classic RPG. lol. Where you'd fight the various robot masters and gain powerups. has this been done before?

Not that I know of.. But this can be done really easily.. Sounds fun.. But try to add depth to the megaman RPG. Make it feel like Megaman Zero 4.

but i bet it can be better if you expand on it because i dont think i will be willing to play a rpg where you just kill a guy and stuff... oh maybe a blaster system.. and etc... and really good life system oh im getting ideas
might turn out good just try to make it more then going through enemies.. maybe you can make it so you know you choose where to go... and you can find better body parts and etc...
oh wow actually tell you the truth this might seem fun
but its gonna be 1 player aint it well thats all good i guess

I've seen it done once or twice, but not very well. It'd be cool if you could get a cool weapons system to work. Nonetheless, using a normal hack n' slash would be fine as long as the weapon powerups were decent!

not just weapon also other stuff you know how in megaman you go look for speical body part upgrade and etc. and you can choose which level you want to play. that might be pretty cool

I think you should make it a little more different then that. Its just not appealing to be 1-2 person game that all you do is defeat bosses. Perhaps add like battles of the megaman war including megaman's friends and have people be the bosses.

if your still thinking of making this, i highly suggest you make a virtual hp system, so you could switch to diff weapons and stuff in the game play
