Anybody use it? Does it rewrite any priorities? [basically, can I install it w/o anybody knowing?]
Any other progs that do the same thing but easier? Maybe w/o installing at all?
[btw, for the record, I am running WinXP Pro]
I use Alchocol for that sort of thing. Its a pretty nice program, but someone else told me about "Deamon" or something. Haven't tried it yet.
I have all of those .rar's [nero6, alcohol_120, and daemon3.41].
But I need to know which one I can install without anybody else knowing. Does Alcohol rewrite any priorities [say like default cd opening tools etc]? I need one that none of the other users on my comp will know is there...
I use DaemonTools. It's really simple and you can have multiple virtual drives if you want. Keep all your games mounted all the time!
ya, i uise daemon tools, its not for burning but creating up to 4 virutal drives at the same time to mount the img or iso or cue/bin files.. anyway i also use nero and it works great, no problems with it but i dunno about it rewriting stuff..
Ive always used Nero and its been good to me, so i see nothing wrong with it.
I know they all work for mounting images...
What I want to know is what does it change on your comp? Will everything stay exactly the same, but still allow you to run it?
Do any of them not require admin rights to install?
